I'd like to see Rush get to the bottom of who "MD4Bush" is.

IIRC, this was a juicy topic for radio-show host Hugh Hewitt maybe
two-three months ago.

If Chuckie Schumer is forced out, does Pataki (R) get to nominate a replacement? If so, how about Rudy Giuliani?
Not my favorite person or politician, but at least he's got an 'R' after his name.

Okay, I demand that these two be fired and frog-marched. If Dems can make those kinds of demands, I can too.
To: Ostlandr
Let's be honest. Chuckie Schmuckie won't be forced out. Not of New York. I mean, Ted Kennedy is responsible for somebody's death and he's still in office! New York's not too different.

If Pataki gets to pick, it will be a liberal. Pataki picked very liberal Howard Mills to run against Schumer, & Mills only received 24%. Pataki has ruined the NYS GOP.
But having said that, Schumer is here to stay. LibDems "do the crime, but never do the time."

The two staffers have resigned, and Sen. Schumer chairman of the DSCC denies any involvement. But I thought that the boss was always expected to take responsibility for the actions of his employees.
Oops, rule does not apply. Schumer is a demonRAT.

Tell me about it. Pataki is too liberal, too arrogant, too stupid and too crooked to be allowed to serve in government anywhere civilized.
Here in NY, he fits right in.
The only reason Pataki got in in the first place was on the "ABC" platform- "Anybody But Cuomo."
Mario Cuomo literally pushed the citizens of one small, Republican upstate county to the brink of armed revolt over the siting of a nuclear waste dump. Cuomo backed down rather than call out the guard.

Can you imagine of Elizabeth Dole, the head of the NRSCC, had obtained the credit records of a Democratic candidate that the media would be utterly silent, that she could go on any political chat show and never been barraged with questions about it as Schumer is able to safely do without nary a word being brought up about it?
Yeah, we have a free media...and Michael Jackson just likes to hang around little boys for the intellectually stimulating conversation.

You're right; the only way NY would force a liberal out of office is if he did something really awful--like become a conservative.
To: wagglebee
"Democrats have reportedly also called him "Uncle Tom and "Sambo and pelted him with Oreo cookies during a 2002 campaign debate."
Oh, yes. These are the kinds of people amenable to rational discourse and debate.
Sure. And Chucky Schumer is an honest man.

Limbaugh notes that despite Schumers denial of any involvement, his organization is picking up the $400-an-hour tab for the pairs attorney. Nope .. the DNC has nothing to do with this crime
nope .. nothing to see here

But wlandsodidwe, Schumer is taking responsibility,
he's coughing up the big bucks to keep them out of jail.
