Notice that they established their buyer base before revealing their true colors--a new twist on the old bait-and-switch, this time aimed at the innocence of our youngsters. >>

Yep, pretty sneaky, just like the Girl Scouts.

I am not sure the pro-deathers will be able to make up for the lost sales to pro-lifers who have more kids and are more likely to buy dolls for their daughters.

No kidding. The Planned Infanticide crowd isn't buying American Girl dolls for their kids --the ones they haven't aborted, anyway.

Hey, thanks very much for this information.

Vision Forum surely stands to make extra money this Christmas season.

Apparently, little 8 - 10 year old girls are quite fickle...they want the doll that everyone else has...this year it will be Vision Forum's version...one that we all can purchase with a clear conscience.

I'm sure that American Girl IS suffering the monetary consquences of their cute little devious game...Linda Stasi of the NY Post actually reviewed their TV movie and glowingly endorsed the dolls....too much gushiness out of her to be believed. Sounds like PR hype to me to help out a company that will be HURTING.

My daughter is 22 and started collecting AG in 1990 when it was still owned by Pleasant Company. I am happy that she owns the original PC collection, but don't care much for the Mattel brand.

However.... my daughter was devastated. This collecting is addictive. After an hour of lively discussion, she decided this would be a good time to stop her AG collection until they could PROVE they were not supporting abhorrent organizations. We are all smiling now.
