I don't have to assume the coach is a bigot. He would still be a representative of the state pressuring kids to pray. Whether he is a bigot or not changes nothing. He's still wrong.

Oh, and scientists (and even mathmaticians for that matter) are allowed to assume. If you don't know that, you don't know science or math - which doesn't surprise me since non-scientists are much more likely to be advocates of prayer than scientists.

Some kids don't like to do gym class--tough, but they can't opt out. Some kids don't want to take music class or math. Here they can opt out. If you haven't prepared your kids to deal with this sort of thing then you have not prepared them for life.

Why don't you just give up now? You freely admit that these kids are being pressured by a representative of the state to pray. That's not consistent with the first amendment. Do you want to edit the first amendment?
