"One house at a time, Fran and Don began knocking on neighbors' doors to tell them that the man who had coached their children, hosted neighborhood barbecues and designed and built the town's best haunted house at Halloween would soon become a woman man with a wound on hormone shots."
There - fixed it.

Like it or not she is both still dad and still a HE. You can mutilate yourself all you want. You can take hormones. You can wear what ever clothing you want.
None of those things make you a male. Having male DNA does. It makes you male down to the molecular level. You can not change that.

Nearby, teenagers flirted, parents hawked raffle tickets, toddlers climbed up and down the bleachers... Then a rainbow POPPED over the hill and the little blue birds pulled ribbons through the air, squirrels danced and laughed, cats and dogs fell in love and we all broke into chorus:
We are the world
we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So lets start giving

There - fixed it.
There fixed it again.

Don Brunner - the man whose life revolved around his beloved wife and kids - was not willing to do that. What a bunch of crap. Evidently, he didn't love them that much.

The 12-yr old's the only one with any sense, apparantly.
The youngest, at 12, buried her head in her mom's lap and sobbed.

What is it about Thanks Giving that brings out this flood of gay crap? Have you noticed the news lately, and even the gay posts here on FR are increasing. There are three on the front page of FR as I type this.
If this keeps up, I gotta step away from the Keyboard before I barf up my turkey.

I am not a biologist, but I think DNA sets up all the things you mention.

Pingout tomorrow.
It's almost hard to tell which is more nauseating, the story or the delivery of the story.
