What is wrong with liberals?

Their character....nah....that's too nice.

It's their essence actually.

Agreed. Nothing in the Bible commands me to forgive a murderer, a Nazi, a Communist ot an Islamofascist. Compassion is necessarily is an act of grace and not every one is worthy of it.

Yes one murder absolves another. I'm surprised the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial hasn't petitioned for the release of Sirhan Sirhan yet. Where's the liberal compassion?

Yes, Jesus was talking about someone striking you! Not that if a person strikes someone else.

This whole idea that we can forgive people who harm OTHERS is a sentimental, irrational, and irreligious idea. It absolutely cheapens and renders worthless the real concept of forgiveness, and cheapens the suffering of others. It's actually a grievous insult to those who suffered and died. I have no right to forgive a killer for killing someone else. It's downright arrogant of me, as well as fantasy. If someone didn't offend me, how can I possibly forgive them? Only God can forgive in this case. I don't exactly agree with goldstategop, because my understanding tells me that God can indeed forgive everyone their sins - IF THEY SINCERELY BEG HIM WITH TRUE REPENTENCE FROM THE CORE OF THEIR HEARTS. Which this subhuman scum has not done.

But that said - even if he was truly repentent, that should not change a thing. He should still be executed, and should have been years ago. That is the right thing to do.

They're usually sorry about getting caught. Very few of them straighten their lives. That's why most of them are career criminals.

I better stop now before I get out of hand.

If the law is followed to the letter, none of you deserve freedom to be sure. If the intent of the law is to rehabilitate, then it would seem it has done so to some extent here. Is law for vengeance? Is it for punishment? Is it rehabilitative? Or is it just there for us to follow just because. I don't know all the facts; but, the knee jerk reactions tend to demand discussion. Nobody seems to be arguing that the law be broken or excepted. The man has been tried by the law and has been convicted. Now it's not a matter of who or what the person was; but, who you are and what you've since made of that person. If the law has created a person worthy of being on our streets, where is the justice and sense in killing what you intended. Just an obvious question. When the law becomes counter-intuitive in its means, it's ends are then questionable - or rather the ends of those bastardizing it.

Either starving and thirsting to death, or he be placed in a small container, doubled up, and have a saline solution injected in. Or... as I mentioned, I'm getting out of hand.

I am so pro-death penalty it's almost embarrassing.

Love your posts on Tookie. I agree; there is no way any of us can forgive him for what he did to those four innocent people. He'll have to take his chances with G-d.

I believe the scum got $60 for killing the convenience store clerk. He laughed to his friend and mocked the gurgling sound coming from the victim's throat as he died from the two shotgun blasts to the back (from the shotgun Tookie purchased).

When you murder (not kill, MURDER), it doesn't really matter how wonderful you may have been before, or how great you will be after. That is IT. You murdered. You deserve justice served.

And Tookie never was great after. He has never admitted his wrongs. He is a huge phony playing a race card, when the truth is, today his crimes could be considered hate crimes themselves. He killed one white and three Asians, the latter of whom he called "Buddha-Heads."

Some libs accost us with the seeming "hypocrisy" that we could be pro-death penalty but anti-abortion. Not at all. Unborn babies can only be innocent lives. Those convicted of their crimes and condemned to die for them have chosen by their actions to be removed from this world. Talk about Pro-Choice.

I would like to see child abusers and violent rapists receive the death penalty as well. It is proven that such pathologic creatures do not ever "rehabilitate." Why pay for their dental and a/c and laundry? They committed heinous crimes: BUH-BYE.

Williams killed 4 folks in two robberies....all exectution style. This is guy is an animal and a con. Trust me.

“Tookie” Williams bragged that he “blew some White guy away, shot him in the back, for $63,”
Williams' groupies would have us believe that their Nobel Peace Prize nominee is a helpless victim of his environment, addled by low self-esteem, forced to turn to violence by racist oppressors, and now apologetic "for the atrocities which I and others committed against our race through gang violence." Spare us the sob story. Here are the cold-blooded facts missing from Williams' Nobel Peace Prize application:
Williams was convicted of murdering four innocent bystanders with a sawed-off shotgun in 1979. There was nothing peaceful or compassionate about the way Alvin Owen, Thsai-Shai Yang, Yen-I Yang and Yee Chen Lin died. Owen was a white teen-age clerk at a 7-11 convenience store, shot twice in the back of the head -- execution-style -- as he lay unarmed on the floor during a hold-up. A witness testified that Williams mocked the gurgling sounds Owen made as he lay dying. "You should have heard the way he sounded when I shot him," the witness quoted Williams.
The Yangs were Taiwanese immigrants who, along with their daughter Yee Chen Lin, were gunned down during a motel robbery two weeks after Owen died. Half of the daughter's face was blown off by the shotgun blasts, former L.A. County Deputy District Attorney Robert Martin told me in an interview this week. Williams called them "Buddhaheads," Martin recounted, and robbed them of petty cash.
Williams has yet to apologize to the victims' families. When the trial ended, Martin told me, Williams muttered to the prosecution team, "I'll get every one of you m-----f-----s."

just another poor black man for soft indignant liberal crackers to feel sorry for....you would think they could pick em better if they can't resist the urge to feel morally superior to the rest of us

Law is for deterrence and punishment. It seeks to keep people from breaking it in the first place by letting them know exactly what they can and can't do. And when they do break, it they lose their freedom. We always used to be clear about our relationship to law. But liberals decided the law was too harsh, so they decided to be easier on people who broke the law. Not too surprisingly, instead of changing like the liberals thought, they played society for suckers. And when those released from prison on account of liberal benevolence broke the law again, liberals didn't accept their policy didn't work; instead, they blamed society for making the criminals wreak havoc on it again. That's why liberal penology has been discredited.

You are exactly right...only crimes of passion where someone lost their temper and really screwed the pooch do you see maybe genuine remorse of their actions

guys like Williams are natural born predators....prison is great for them....they flourish there

At least I have a consistent affection for righteous people. The Left seems to have a love for the profane, the ungodly and the violent among us I find sickening. I can never be embarrassed at the prospect of evil-doers meeting their just desserts.

If he were white trash, I wonder if the Left would be making this big fuss. To say that he's a role model is to insult law-abiding black people. All I can say is, I look forward to never having to hear of him again.

Don't forget Terri Schiavo. I don't recall one liberal big-shot calling for clemency for her. Now there's a double standard worth calling attention to.

We are on the same wavelength. Forcible rape and child molestation used to be capital crimes, as was kidnapping. They all should be again.

And the stupid statement that capital punishment doesn't deter crime? It sure as heck does - no one who has been executed has ever committed another crime. Also, if the punishment was administered quickly, wannabes would think a little more seriously about their futures.

I love your statements. And I'm not embarrassed, I was being a little facetious. I'm embarrassed for the fools and knaves who are pro-abortion and dripping with foolish, mawkish, ignorant and dangerous compassion, for an evil man who needs justice done.
