I'm surpized no one has quoted the last verse of The Marines Hymn by now....
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve;
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve;
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes;
They will find the streets are guarded
By UNITED STATES MARINES.
COB1, I'll miss him.
God be with Faith tonight, and heal her wounded heart. In all things, let her see that the God who made TC also is with her even now - and TC is with God.
Farewell dear Texas Cowboy...
Prayers offered.

TC has probably had his first Inspection, by the Old Man himself and is now standing Guard once again. After all:
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes;
They will find the streets are guarded
By The United States Marines.
Heaven has another Guard tonight.
Several I'm afraid. The young guys will need an Old Hand, to help them with their much more difficult transition. TC is there to do his duty... Who knows, perhaps that is why he was called Home? He was needed more there than he was here.
Farewell my friend.
What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man, who will be missed dearly.
The first time I met TC in person I knew I loved him. The second time we met he gave me one of his TC hugs, and I knew he loved me.
The man had a heart of gold bigger than Texas.
Prayers for Faith & Joel.
Faith, you were truly blessed as he was with your love and care and that of your hubby. Lord, what a gift he was to so many... what a man, a godly and very special real man. The angels are beaming in his company right now, while we cry.
Little Termite .. what an extraordinary bond you shared with him...and what a miracle that was for you both .. truly God-designed. I will never forget you, TC. Your spirit and example live on in countless FRiends. Praise you Lord, for your faithful soldier is safe in Your house tonight.
Rest assured, it did.
He surely will be missed. He touched many lives here on FR. God rest his soul.
RIP, honored Prayer Warrior. Your inspiration will live on.
I lost it listening to that song.
That so sounds like TC. As I have said to many people, during the entire time of his illness his concern was never for himself. He alway worried about others and their welfare.
Heaven truly is a Blessed now.
God Bless Texas Cowboy and the family. God's peace be with them all. God's love shine through this day. God's will be done above all.

Dear Lord, please forgive our sins and hear our prayers. We ask that you embrace TexasCowboy in your loving arms and tender mercy, and comfort all the loved ones left behind. Grant them strength and courage and ease their pain. This we ask in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Happy Trails, TexasCowboy!
How lucky we were to be able to see TC recently. I am not sure whose face lit up the most when we walked into Faith & Joel's house.
Our weekend with TC was a blessed one. A memory neither one of us will ever forget.
I know you're right ... but it's so sad .. he fought and fought, endured so much. I know he's at peace and filled with a joy we cannot even comprehend. God bless him eternally, and be with Faith and his family of FRiends.

Me too.
What's the rest of his story? How long was he a Freeper?
