The lowlights of the CMAs: "Sir" Elton John's lame duet with Dolly Parton, Bon Jovi, and trotting that lame@ss Bloomberg out just because the show was in NYC.

They can't do that to Hillary, can they?

I heard you could see Alison Krauss' undies during her song.

Other lowlights: Garth Brooks (please re-retire), Alan Jackson covering Clapton, and Martina McBride's dress (or should I say her body).

I turned away from the MTV er uh CMA awards when they started announcing all of their "guests" from the world of pop music and Hollywood.
There was a darn good movie on Turner Classics Movies. Abbot and Costello. Funny and absolutely no foul language.
I did switch back to the CMA awards after the movie ended and discovered that country music in no longer country music. Some of the entertainers look and dress like bums, which to me shows disrespect for their fans. With a few exceptions, the music is more rock than country. Like NASCAR, country music's success has destroyed it for me.

I like those 2, and "House" as well. That's what VCRs are for. I watched a few minutes of the "Hillary for President" show once, but couldn't take it.

I don't know. I'd vote for a Margaret Thatcher clone.

I haven't watched it since I saw the first episode. Nothing more than a cheap "West Wing" rip-off. Besides, "House" is on at the same time, and that show is the sh*t!

Let's be honest. She's getting too old to be able to use the casting couch to get her roles like she did in her prime days. She's on her fourth marriage and finally had kids at age 46 via fertility drugs.
How she'll survive in hollywood now that she can't sleep her way into getting roles in movies is anyones guess. About the only project she's been involved in that didn't bomb was League of their own, and it was Tom Hanks being in the picture that kept it from bombing.

Since then, two highly rated shows among 18-49s, Foxs House and NBCs My Name is Earl, have started dominating the 9 p.m. timeslot.Ever since I saw the pilot, I said on FR that 'Earl' would consistently beat 'CoC.' While CoC started strong and did well for a few weeks, the shine is clearly off of it. Davis can't carry a project by herself. Earl will rule the roost!
