Rush, you're truly a God-send.

I think that Bush is finally beginning to understand that kow-towing to the Dems doesn't work.

Such condemnation is truly well-deserved. The Democrats earn it every day.

Liberals have no interest in being fair. They're ideological bigots.

I just hope friday was the beginning. I'm not real keen on the war in Iraq, I hope we made the right choice(history will prove that I'm sure). But for the dems to say bush lied when they made the same statements is nothing more than an effort to undermine the war effort. I want this war to end but end in victory. By the way, in defense of bill clinton, I dont believe i have ever heard him say bush lied about wmds. I have heard algore say it but not clinton. Am I correct or have I not been listening

The L/MSM has lied so frequently, that it is now possible they actually are believing what they are claiming where all along most of them really realized they where simply lies.
They are approaching a point where like the Japanese Imperial army they actually believed what they where telling Tokoyo Rose to say, regarding ridiculus claims of the number of US ships they where sinking etc..
The L/MSM is in a slow-mo self implosion.

Nobody likes war. War is never fun. Good men and women die because of war. These are just facts.
The problem here is that we have some folks in this country literally denying the fact that they supported this war. As the President said- these folks are trying to re-write history.
As far as this just being the beginning- I think this is. The President has another speech scheduled for Monday. In that speech- he is supposed to continue pointing out the fact that so many on both sides of the ailse believed that Saddam had weapons.
As far as making the right choice- we will never know if we made the right choice, if we do not give our troops the support they need to win this war.
I believe this statement was the most importment statement made by the President during that speech-
"These baseless attacks send the wrong signal to our troops and to an enemy that is questioning America's will. As our troops fight a ruthless enemy determined to destroy our way of life, they deserve to know that their elected leaders who voted to send them to war continue to stand behind them."
The very fact that so many politicians are not willing to stand behind their own vote- clearly shows that they do not stand behind our troops.

As far as I remember, Bill stated that he would of just let the UN handle the WMD (it's not our problem )
The war in Iraq was justified. He didn't have to have the means to manufacture or stock pile WMD's. I had followed the dealings of Saddam since before GW1. He had ties with Syria (Bio wepons) and North Korea (nukes, Scuds). All he had to do was wait things out, and buy them from the afore mentioned countries. Lets not forget the happy face he made at 9/11 and the statement he made about "marching through the gates of Jerusalem". Oh and those nice little checks he sent families of Palestine suicide bombers.
Oh and his boys... Well boys will be boys.

If your bored, Just get some rest then. close your eyes and when you wake the government can tell you what to do,when to do it, and that the constitution means nothing. (when the Dem's take over again). After all, they know what's best for us and that it's not our money, but theirs.
The president is allowed to piss farther due to him winning the election (right or wrong). Clinton had his day and wasted the change to prevent 9/11 (again, he thought that was not our problem).
We need to challenge now the Dem's now ! They had their chance to "play nice".

Correcting an error to
Ignore the Katrina Media Speech Spin
BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: A lot of you people have been demanding the president come out and defend himself and respond to some of this and, by the way, I think -- this is my own view here -- but I think the president deserves our total support now and needs it. I know that some of you think leadership has been lacking and there hasn't been a lot, but sometimes you don't wait for leaders. Sometimes you become one. The president came out today. He offered people what they wanted to hear him say. It's time now to support him on this, but I just want to warn you. I have been monitoring the big media, this as in big oil. I've been monitoring the big media. By the way, I wonder what their profits are, as opposed to big oil. But anyway, I've been monitoring the big media, and, of course, the big media is taking the three paragraphs from this speech to point out the president's weakness. I've been through this, throughout my career, not to equate myself with the situation. This is a life lesson. I've been through this and I've had scurrilous things said about me in public, and people say (doing impression) "Rush Limbaugh, I know you're not going to sit there and tolerate that, you've got to fight back!"
And every time I've fought back, the critics, "A-ha, we must be on to something, you're on defense, you have to defend yourself. If it was no big deal, you'd just ignore it."
The press is saying exactly that about Bush's three paragraphs where he points out that his critics are full of it and that they're hypocrites and that they're lying, because they saw this intelligence, and they said the same things he said. The press:
"He's become derailed, he's now given to responding to his critics. The real purpose of this speech was to respond to his critics. He continues to stay on defense."
I just want to warn you that's what you're going to hear as you keep the big media on, and it's going to frustrate you because you think -- and normal logic would say that somebody responding would force the critics or the people that sat around watching this to examine, "Okay, the president fought back, he responded, called these people a bunch of liars essentially and said that they're rewriting history."
And of course the people that are doing the rewriting of history are going to try to spin this, "See, see, we're getting to him, we're taking him off track, we're distracting him, he's responding to us."
You're not going to hear the press say, "The president vigorously fought back today and told the truth about his--"
You're not going to hear that at all. So don't look for support, don't look for any kind of validation on this from the big media.
Sorry for the format typo mistake. It took several hours to put this together, ... and there's lots more that I'd like to add. I'm just too tired right now.

This legacy confab is in and of itself proof certain of clinton's deeply flawed character, and a demonstration in real time of the way in which the clinton years were about a legacy that was incidentally a presidency. Madeleine Albright captured the essence of this dysfunctional presidency best when she explained why clinton couldn't go after bin Laden. According to Richard Miniter, the Albright revelation occurred at the cabinet meeting that would decide the disposition of the USS Cole bombing by al Qaeda [that is to say, that would decide to do what it had always done when a "bimbo" was not spilling the beans on the clintons: Nothing]. Only Clarke wanted to retaliate militarily for this unambiguous act of war. Albright explained that a [sham] Mideast accord would yield [if not peace for the principals, surely] a Nobel Peace Prize for clinton. Kill or capture bin Laden and clinton could kiss the accord and the Peace Prize good-bye. If clinton liberalism, smallness, cowardice, corruption, perfidy--and, to borrow a phrase from Andrew Cuomo, clinton cluelessness--played a part, it was, in the end, the Nobel Peace Prize that produced the puerile pertinacity that enabled the clintons to shrug off terrorism's global danger.
