Somehow I feel there should be no quarter given in these sharp little fights. They show us none....
First squeeze for intel, then shoot them if they try to escape. ( And maybe shoot them only after they have escaped and led us to more scumbags.)

So what are we doing with them? Somehow I feel there should be no quarter given in these sharp little fights. They show us none.... Ah yes, but they sing like little birdies as soon as we get the cuffs on them. They turn in everyone around them, let us know who is paying them, and where they live.

Why are these guys always captured ? Why aren't they shot trying to elude & evade ? When the U.S. Army shows up on your porch, you as a terrorist have two options: surrender, or get shot. They know we honor any genuine surrender attempt, and that we won't hesitate to turn their house into a pile of warm rocks if they resist.
There is no "Bravely fight back and gloriously defeat the infidels." They very, very rarely have any luck with "Go down fighting and take someone with me". The ones that are still alive realize that that once Uncle Sam shows up on your doorstep, it's time to decide between prison, or heaven.
Most opt for prison.

I understand that...my question was rhetorically tongue in cheek.(with a whole bunch of wishful thinking)
We are the good guys and we do good guys stuff.
The problem with capture is, they will be released after x amount of months, when the prisons get too full with new arrivees or because of some clemency because of an end of a holy period.
Just once...take no prisoners, so they can't kill US Marines & Soldiers later on.

"Ted and John are deeply saddened." And again, Mary Jo was unavailable for comment.
