Idiot
Colin McEnroe now ranting on WTIC AM 1080 about how Pres. Bush's speech today was "full of lies".
My paraphrase: "The fact that he (Pres. Bush) is standing up there today, giving a speech full of lies is proof that he will do anything to save his own sorry skin."
McEnroe is saying that Congress DID NOT have acess to the same intel that the Bush administration did - because Dick Durban said so (LOL). Funny, Colin didn't cite any EVIDENCE telling us how he KNOWS this to be true about the pre-war intel. (Although McEnroe kept saying "We KNOW this... We KNOW this.") McEnroe is just parroting the claptrap that Dick Durbin the Turbin has been blabbing about... "the pre-war intelligence was manipulated by the Bush administration."
He says Rep. John Larson is a "stand up guy" when it came to opposing the war in Iraq. *barf*
McEnroe: "If you wanted to recruit new people who hate us to Al Qaeda, you couldn't have done a better job than by invading Iraq."
McEnroe now congratulating Harry Reid for closing down the Senate. Pat Roberts has dragged his feet on the investigation... "it's on the back burner", (supposedly) say Republicans. The truth (?) is, they never did the investigation.
If you're interested, drop Colin McEnroe a line with your thoughts on his comments: wticcomments@cbs.com

Check out #22 to hear what our local liberal talk show host said about President Bush's speech today. I thought I'd tune in for a few minutes just to hear what he had to say (this guy runs opposite Hannity: 3-6pm).
Same 'ol sh**, nothing new here I suppose... the usual 'RAT talking points.
I loved Dubya's speech today, and I continue to stand firmly with him and with the War on Terrorism, but I sure wish he had made this speech sooner... and named names! On radio (the news, every half hour), TV and in the papers, all I keep hearing about is Bush's low poll ratings... even on the Fox News poll.

After his speech I made the mistake of listening to CNN's commentary. John King said for someone, a year after he was elected, to cite what his opponent said during the campaign shows he's coming from a position of weakness. Huh? He added that GWB should not be explaining, years after going in, why we're there but rather our strategy for getting out. Obviously John King did not hear the speech but read excerpts and then filled time studying the dems response. Bill Schneider was up next and I didn't have the stomach to hear more.
I would like just one thing from ALL the networks. As Bush's poll numbers begin to climb, I'd like to hear those numbers cited as often as I've heard the negative ones which has been non-stop for weeks now.

After we stick their knife back into their whining gut, we will twist it, turn it and rip a new hole as we pull it out.n
"The MSM and Libs try to undermine the war. All Republicans stand firm in support of this President."
Read my tagline. The MSM/Rats need to plan a withdrawal in their illegitimate war on President Bush. They are in a quagmire since Feb 2002.

This pig is gone.
Maybe they can list the names of the 50 MILLION people freed in Afghanistan and Iraq.
That would require a spine though.
Job well done!! For all who have served and continue to serve depite the hatred and fake-support of anti-American liberals.

Also, Dubya is my President.
An attack on him is an attack on myself and all veterans.
An attack on him is an attack on our troops.
An attack on him is a pep rally chant of support for the enemy.

I always suspected John King was a big lib... those statements leave no doubt. Bill Schneider... UGH. He has SO much obvious contempt for Bush and for anyone who is Republican/Conservative... I can't bear listening to him, even for a minute.

Interesting point... we should be on the lookout for that. Of course you know we won't hear a thing that's positive for Bush, except on some shows on Fox News (ie Brit Hume), and maybe from Joe Scarborough, if he even discusses politics anymore (last I saw, it was Natalee, pedophiles and Katrina).

Forget Joe Scarborough who has been brainwashed by the PTB at NBC. I wouldn't even consider him a RINO any longer.

I saw the same thing and reacted in the same way... and I left because I too cannot stomach Bill Schneider. The intensity of King's attack of Bush was appalling. I don't think these people report the news but, rather, they "frame" the the news to fit their political agenda. That King came out so quickly and vehemently suggests had he already had the Democrat's talking points. It's an ironic double standard that Democrat's can attack Bush at every turn and not be criticized by the media but, if Bush fights back it's seen as a sign of weakness. More importantly, CCN just couldn't find it in their hearts to first say something good about the speech. So much for a balanced coverage. They might as well be Pravda for the Democrats... not reporting the truth, but reporting what they want to be true.

That King came out so quickly and vehemently suggests had he already had the Democrat's talking points. Indeed. Unfortunately the media was given an advance copy of the speech which afforded them the luxury of talking to their dem cohorts to be sure they were all on the same page. John King, who never came up for air, did a masterful job hitting MOST of the points. He forgot to mention one other that I've heard several liberal pundits make -- that GWB, instead of honoring Veterans on their day, chose to blast dems for disagreeing with him on the war.
The MSM here in the States used to conceal their bias however their hatred of this President has made them throw caution to the wind. Knowing the public's opinion of the war is changing gives them carte blanche to say what they will, come what may.
BTW, your "East Meets West" gave me goosebumps. Plan to listen to more after I post this.

I hope Bush comes out swinging because if the Republicans lose the House and the Senate 06, the Democrats will impeach him.
I'm glad you like "East Meets West." Are you a musician or into the arts?
To: Blind Eye Jones
I play piano but am, by no means, an accomplished musician, whereas my son is quite a drummer. He's a Junior in college not sure what to major in but I'm sure he'd rather be elsewhere studying musical production.

Music can be a brutal business and I support myself mostly through teaching guitar and bass. My wife is a high school teacher with one son still in public school. If your son wants to do music production that is great, but generally it is very hard to earn a living just with that one skill... The best thing is to enjoy music regardless of any career prospects... All the best!
