"After dealing with the typeface issues, Mapes presents contextual evidence to show that the documents make an uncannily smooth factual mesh with other documents of known provenance. Not the sort of thing one would expect from fakes."

Exactly what you would expect from fakes. Why fake a document inconsistent with your agenda?

refute the KNOWN FACT that the document matches exactly the default settings in Microsoft Word
She writes a whole book but remains stymied by a single fact. It must be painful to be a leftist idiot.

This argument is predicated on the writer's own admitted ignorance.

None of these seem to evoke a response from you and they represent only about 1% of the thread. I guess it's OK to call the writer ignorant and a "leftist idiot", I just can't call him a plain ole "idiot".

I was the victim of one of those live TV raids on businesses, and let me tell you it was painful. A lawyer told me that it was happening 12 times a month, and from the TV station's perspective it is just a tidbit or canape to go with cocktails before dinner. It ruined the biz, my life, and careers of my 40 employees and it was completely bogus. No charges were filed.

I got to calling myself the Richard Jewell of the Midwest, and I remember Becky West being questioned about how they ruined that man by calling him a bomber. She just bristled at the idea that anyone would question her news judgment. I am glad she got canned.

Many people's constitutional rights are thus trampled on by the media which hides behind the 1st amendment. It is impossible to sue them in spite of all the damage they do.
