His nose was chewed off. I hope his son recognizes him.

Davis recently returned home. He's severely disfigured - his nose chewed off and his genitals and limbs severely mauled - but his love for Moe, who served as the ring bearer in his and LaDonna's wedding, remains strong. Words fail me...

a chimp is a chimp
a tiger is a tiger
expecting a wild animal to behave simply because they 'look cute' is a recipe for disaster.

Nature is cruel and comes with all manners of ways for us to die cruel deaths.

So sad. Living life disfigured must be a difficult cross to bear. I have a dear freeper friend is disfigured, and he has the most positive and optimistic attitude; he truly inspires me.

Chimps are NOT suitable pets.
The are nearly as intellegent as humans, are stronger, and have a propensity to violence; even against their caregivers.

IIRC, from earlier reports...
Lost most fingers and toes.
Nose.
And testicles.
His inability to reproduce is very assuring.

That is really bizarre. They went for the extremities. Boy, chimps fight dirty. I wonder why they left his ears alone.

Sounds like you just described your average Muslim. The stronger part I can assume as smell. Anyway, I'll take on a chimp any day as long as it's only one and I have a bat, leather gloves and a short sword.

When they rescued the chimp in Africa they should have put it in a reserve.
In Thailand it used to be very common that people would take baby gibbons and macaques from the jungle and use them to make money from tourists. Once they get past a few years old they grow large teeth and get very aggresive though. Then their owners dump them and get a new one.
I used to feed one that lived near my office but I never got too close, those things can be vicious.
To: jimboster
Yep.
They always bite off fingers and tear at genitals.
Sound like perfect pets.

Like Norm MacDonald, I prefer weenie dogs. The worst they can do is gnaw on your ankle.
