"Come on, these are just some poor, disenfranchised yoots who live in tents and can't afford to stay in a nice hotel getting back at "da man". (sarc)"
Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi and his European/ME operatives are having a real blast, no pun meant.

Remember, the American Al Qiaeda guy who lived in California? Didn't he warn of attacks on Australia and Los Angeles?

Lots of theories on that:
1. Zarqawi is Jordanian
2. Jordan is an ally against terrorism
3. Jordan has recognized Israel
All of these might be true. My theory is that Operation Steel Curtain has clamped down on the terrorists in western Iraq to the point where it may have pushed some of them out of Iraq. Jordan is right next door.

CNN: Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister just said 53 confirmed dead, over 120 injured. Also says that a vehicle was involved at the Days Inn. Worst casualties occurred at Radison, where there was a wedding party.

Sure looks like an Al Qaeda attack on Jordon. Could also be Hezbollah (Party of God), they are very closely tied to the Iranians. Hez and other Pali groups have been at the terror bombing business a lot long than that newbie Bin Laden, whose organization derives mostly from the old (and still around) Islamic Jihad.

Only two countries in the Arab world get lots of tourists.
Jordan to see Petra.
Egypt to see Egyptian artifacts.
Lots of Israeli's have made the trip to see Petra!
