The main question I have is how did MD4BUSH know to key in on NCPAC without knowing who he was and how important he would be as apposed to anyone else on FR or that particular thread?

They knew who NCPAC was before the attack in my opinion and the O'Malley camp used this tactic to squash negative publicity about O'Malley after he was showcased by Democrats as "up and coming" during the Democratic National Convention last year.

This is clearly a damage control dirty politics maneuver by the Maryland Democratic Party still in shock over the defeat of Kathleen Townsend to Republican Robert L. Ehrlich. They have blocked or obstructed every initiative the Governor has attempted in office. They thought clearing this issue while smearing the Governor was a two for one deal, or killing two birds with one stone.

The plot has allies too, the Washington Post and the Baltimore SUN who despise the Governor openly. The Baltimore SUN has even faced off against the Governor in court after he banned a couple of SUN reporters for the way they reported about him and his administration which the Governor won in court.
