That ONE client recieved the worst pardon in presidential history.
That ONE client engaged in shady deals that undermined foreign policy.
And Libby represented that client - and later landed a plum job in the Bush Admin - which I thought was a bad idea.
Actually, the "worst" Presidential pardon was Benjamin Harrison's pardon of Mormons convicted of polygamy - it's been downhill for values and morals in this country ever since. Look, if you don't want to donate, fine. Just don't condemn the man for one (yes, "ONE") mistake.
That pardon did not affect national security issues, so I disagree.
Just don't condemn the man for one (yes, "ONE") mistake.
I disagree, given the nature of the ONE mistake. Libby should never have been part of the Bush Admin - so that's TWO mistakes.
Well, that's not technically LIBBY's "mistake" but either way, hopefully he doesn't make ANOTHER mistake then and turn on Cheney. Have a nice day.
Heard one of the Err America libs today commenting on "have you heard about the huge pool of money Libby is amassing for his defense - proves how guilty all Pubs are and need to be impeached immediately".
Since it's in the Times, I'll have to have confirmation from two other independent sources.
