<< Wont be a whole lot left to stop em. >>

Just in case they ever get the amphibious means to try, there will always be the FRee Taiwanese.

And the United States Navy.

That'll stop the bastards.

AND make their eyes water.

True. But I think we're screwed in East Asia.

<< True. But I think we're screwed in East Asia. >>

I spend 80% of the year based in East Asia and have lived among Asia, Africa and Middle-East/Gul/Arabia for decades. My most passionate desire is that our nation Absolutely Refuse to treat the predatory Peking-based pack of lying looting thieving mass-murdering warlord-wannabe gangster bastards that calls itself "china" as if even one member of that obscene shower of **it belonged to anything even remotely associated with the Family of Civilized Nations.

And, unless we turn around -- in that the bloody idiots who run our abjectly Peter Principled corporations and the evil bloody idiots who effectively own and operate and control our even less in touch with reality and/or more actively anti-American State Department and Foreign Service and other feral-gummint departments are all either in morbid denial of the threat to all free men posed by "china" or are willingly in the Peking Pack's pockets -- we may well indeed be screwed.

Somehow having a lot of western desert didn't stop the USA from growing in that direction.

So Brian, how does the rest of Asia really feel toward China? Serious question.
