Actually a laser guided 20 mike with exposive rounds would be quicker and more effective...hope the surviving pirates can swim with sharpnel embedded in their torsos. Wounded bodies make for great shark magnets...
What ever happened to just juicing the jerks with a deck mounted .50 cal?
Oxymoronic.
Lol! Good one!
FINALLY, a great use for any Yoko Ono CD!
Exactly - when will enough people realize that terrorists, pirates, murderers, and other dangerous scumbags need to be good and DEAD!! Driving them off with a sonic weapon is nice for this occurrence, but it just means they will try their attacks again with others less prepared to deal with them..........
I want one.
Note the head muslim waving.
This must be similar to the device Nissan recently employed at a US assembly plant to prevent hail from damaging new vehicles. It fires a sonic 'boom' upward and prevents the hail from forming. It works, but the neighbors aren't too thrilled about it....
I laughed at what someone from another thread suggested, that maybe a cruise line could make the ultimate adventure cruise out of this. People could bring their own guns, and/or rent from the ship various pieces of arsenal, and then they would cruise off the Saomali coast waiting to ambush the pirates. Talk about thrills, danger, and excitement!
Well, just put one or two trained snipers in every cruise ship, and pick off the creeps one by one. Shouldn't be hard.
I second the motion. Bullets are the solution. Noise just makes 'em mad and they'll come back again with earmuffs.
I think "Ramming Speed" would have been my order...
Drop Anchor!
Wait, that's not Looter Guy manning the outboard isn't it?
Actually they could just offer it as one of the regular shore excursion tour options--Somali "Pirate" Safari--$75 unarmed sightseeing, $150 with all the ammo you can carry (but remember to buy bottled water BEFORE leaving the ship, in case of capture).
I am OUTRAGED!
