The truth about Joe Wilson and Plame must come out. Why did'nt the Fitzgerald Grand Jury investigation ever call on Wilson and others who have been caught lying consistenly?

Because that would negate Bush's impeachment silly!

Because that's not what he was paid to do.

This has now gotten ridiculous. Was there ANYONE in Washington who didn't know Plame was CIA and used to be covert? Anyone? I read more and more names every week.

It's interesting that after a month, Fitzgerald found it necessary to "expand" his investigation to go after Libby snd Rove...yet did not find it necessary to interview Wilson and his wife. I mean, he was talking to NEIGHBORS two days before the indictment and TWO YEARS after the beginning of the case!

What Libby MIGHT have done (perjury) is criminal...what Wilson and Plame have done is not only criminal, but treason.

Its time to investigate the Fitxgerald investigation to see why all this money was spent when he could have discovered the facts in about a week.

"Why did'nt the Fitzgerald Grand Jury investigation ever call on Wilson and others....?"

That certainly is a good question isn't it?

Fitz seems to have fooled around for TWO years and only did about a quarter of his job. This is why I believe that Fitz has perpetrated a fraud on the American taxpayer.

In the good old days, the General would be challenging Wilson to a duel for questioning his honor. I'd bet on the General. This system also kept cowards such as Wilson from lying about decent men, all in all, a good thing.

This has now gotten ridiculous.

Yeah... it's so funny that the administration and Senate Republicans are going along with it... and letting themselves be frog-marched out of Washington in the process.

Bunch of saps!

Hanson said that after seeing that column, he found it to be very "disingenuous" of Corn to base its contents largely on the green-room conversation without mentioning it to his readers.

David Corn? Disingenuous? Oh say it ain't so. \sarc

Joe Farah, General McInerney (soory about the spelling) and General Vallely were all on with John Batchelor last night and quite clear that they are not backing down on this. Wilson told both Generals about his wife well before the Novak article.

Which leads to another question; Fitzgerald has to be aware of Wilson's lies and chose to overlook them, is Fitzgerald really unbiased in this investigation?

General Vallely had a witness to Joe Wilson's revelation about his wife.......Mrs. Vallely was also in the FOX green room at the time. Joe has apparently forgotten that.

This denial on Wilson's part could be as simple as him having promised his wife not to tell anyone. Now he appears to be caught blabbing it all over town. We know his wife will sleep with a married man, maybe she will move on and take half this @ssholes money.

In general, I find it very easy to dislike a man like this Wilson.

I hadn't known that Mrs. Vallely was in the Green Room too! Oh, my. Wilson is so filled with bluff and bluster and makes me wonder if he EVER tells the truth.

Incredible! I wonder when the media will share Gen. McInerny's story with us.

That is my biggest complaint with the administration and Republicans in general. There is an unwillingness to engage in debate and take on the liars on the left.

I know that the president campaigned on changing the tone in Washington. It hasn't worked.

As well, there is no need to get into the gutter with the left in order to defend the policies of the right. What is needed is simply a reminder of the Democrat's OWN words in the past.

For example, when the left complains about how the president manipulated the intelligence regarding WMD in Iraq, why doesn't SOMEONE in the administration remind the voters of the strong words used by Democrats after Clinton signed the Iraqi Liberation Act in 1998?

ALL the Democrats took to the airwaves to tell us what a danger Iraq's WMD posed to the United States. It is darned near UNFORGIVABLE that the administration and Republicans in Congress have permitted the lies of the left to stand for as long as they have. It has undermined the resolve of the public and more importantly, has hurt the morale of the military who are risking their lives.

Sounds like this is going to get veeeeerrrry interesting . . . . and ugly. If this incident and the "Scooter" Libby indictment run their natural course, we will see both Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame-Flame on a witness stand in the near future and some dedicated legalistic digging to derive the truth.
