Hank, you're such a grouch. But I think you're entertaining anyway. ; ),

Sucking up to politicians is for the feebleminded and Russians.

But, thank you.

Thanks BushPolicy, I came out of lurking to tell you I'm right along side you! Bush knows what it takes to bring our great cuntry to the next level and wipe away all those years in the wildness.

When Jesus was in the desert, He new that the easy way out would be the way to ruin. And so we learn from Jesus that the right way is not the easiest way.

The President is taking us the right way and we can't let all his hard work get destroyed in a media frenzy. I believe where there's smoke there's fire but with when your driven in your goal's sometimes you have to bend the rules. That's why the President has parodon powers, for when he strives against his policical foes.

I'm with you Bushpolicy, and I'm with Bush all the way FOR THE USA!!

True, but admiring them for personal or professional achievement is not.
We learn from others that way.

Anyway, it's no big deal. I just find it very funny how it bugs you so much. But it does get you noticed! ; )

I hope you have a terrific day. (Please note that I mean that very sincerely.)

That was actually January 20, 1981, but a great photo nonetheless ...

... and a great day for America!

Are you contending that drilling in ANWR = freedom from foreign oil dependence?

It's the MD4BUSH Tactic!!

For newbies, you might explain what that means.

Surely you have noticed how many leftist groups clothe themselves in names that include American this or that and/or Progress/Progressive this or that ... almost code words ...

Has anyone [who has been here longer than I have been] taken a look at known trolls to see if they use this same tactic .... like MD4BUSH ... BushPolicy ... ?

Just wondering ...

WILLIE! I was just thinking of you last night. I've been in Louisiana for most of the last month, with little power and no cell phone. We're trying to help some business partners recover.

I was wondering how Houston was treating you and if you planted fall tomatoes?

That's why the President has parodon powers, for when he strives against his policical foes.

Not sure quite what this means!

Who's he gonna pardon ... himself ... ?

Has this president made great use of his "parodon" powers ... or was that the one before ... ? LOL

Welcome to Free Republic ... it's a FReep for all at times ... might as well get used to it!

I was wondering how Houston was treating you and if you planted fall tomatoes?

Thanks for asking... I'm still adjusting...
I had a remarkably decent yield from the two plants that I planted waaaaay too late in the spring. But unfortunately, the summer heat was too much for me to even start thinking about starting fall tomatoes. Sheeesh, I could barely keep up with the more routine grass cutting and flower/bush weeding and trimming. I don't care much for St Augustine grass -- the cool weather grasses that I'm accustomed to never gave me as many headaches with assorted brown splotches and other crap growing/not-growing in it. What a pain.

Tomatoes are going to have to wait until spring.
But right now, I'm thinking about more flowers/shrubbery to add around the house or next to the mailbox. The stuff we have is OK, but it doesn't produce much color. We need something (low maintenance) that'll give us some more colorful accents. Any recommendations?

Just click on the MD4BUSH keyword on the main page - it's all there . . .

the "tactic" I was alluding to though is - on one of the early threads (or the first??) he posted on, the thread was bumbed by obvious trolls about one every two weeks.

On this thread - we have a new poster that exhibits some of the classic troll characteristics and several trolls show up on the same thread ...

I changed my mind, I do have something else to say:
the posting guidelines say to post vanities at a minimum, and to post only high quality, well written ones. It doesn't say newbies can't write them, it doesn't talk about newbies at all. The guidelines don't prohibit any other advice I gave that guy. You are the only person who jumped on me for what I wrote, most of my advice was to just have fun, learn etc. This is a free country, I told the guy to write what he wants. You have proven to me, as if I didn't know before, that some people really are too serious about this place. With that said, I actually apologize for telling you to f*** yourself. Let's just stop all this now ok?

I agree. The Mount Rushmore thing is way over-the-top, and his posts seem very measured and calculated - with the typical buzzwords thrown in for good measure.

Well, this thread is now so bizarre at this point it has become hysterical. Lots of unexplained twists and turns, and I have no idea where it is all going.

I think I'm gonna need popcorn.

The trolls certainly seem to be. I think that was the point.

I'm not here all the time, but I haven't seen any patterns to troll names. The obvious trolls use really obnoxious names but I've seen few or no trolls that use suck-up tactics and then try to spring a surprise. I would give BP a thumbs up, I'm just here to watch the nonsense.
