The week's off to a greeeeattt start! As Ann Coulter says, what a difference a week makes. With Samuel Alito, the White House nominated a stunningly qualified judge. At least the President's no longer terrified of candidates who formally belong to the Federalist Society! The best news of all is in the unhinged reaction of the Democrats. They've had to run from a host of unpopular positions and now it looks like they'll have to renounce the NARAL ladies or face another sad day in 2006. Life is good!

"(This was later deemed an "undue burden" by liberals' favorite Supreme Court justice, Sandra Day O'Connor.)" Well I agree with O'Connor, it must be very burdonsome for a wife to tell her husband she's about to kill their child.

It's nice to see Ann aiming her gun at the other side of the isle. As much as I hated the Miers pick, I thought Ann went over the top.
But, after Alitoween, all is forgiven to those on both sides of the fight!

Oh my God! This woman just absolutely nails it time and again. I don't believe there is another commentator who grabs me the same way.

"a narrow segment of lunatics commonly known as "the Democratic Party base." I'd say that "base Democrats" could sound a bit better, if only as a play of words.

Same article, different title. I just love the desperation time that's engulfed the Democrats. They're literally at their wits end.

Dang; honestly, I've always loved Ann's stuff. But since her behavior over Miers... she just doesn't sound as wise.

Seems to me that a woman who wants an abortion, and doesn't want her hubby to know, isn't too concerned about 'their' child.
It's her child, sure - though I really doubt a woman would go to that extreme if it was his child.
In other words, the guy who came over to lay down the new carptet laid down something else, too. ;-)
