I'd slink away from the heavy dose of truthfulness in this post too, were I a believer in Get-Rich-Quick-Christianity like you...
38 Then He said to them in His teaching, Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces, 39 the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts, 40 who devour widows houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.
What on earth are you talking about?
You're so busy abusing God's Word to smear and slander those who disagree with you that you're losing track of your own arguments.
I NEVER said that I was a proponent of the "get rich", "name it and claim it" prosperity Gospels being preached by the Coplands and others.
Quite the opposite. I disagree with such teachings.
You're barking up the wrong tree.
"heavy dose of truthfulness"?
Are you trying to make me laugh on purpose or what?
The arrogance of those who believe they are qualified to judge and condemn those they don't even know using out of context scripture just amazes me.
You are so morally superior to Jay Sekulow aren't you. Self-righteous bag of wing.
And your point is.........?
Copeland gets a lot of letters from pastors and preachers criticizing him for preaching the "prosperity message" then in the very next sentence they beg him for money to pay the rent on the church. LOL!!! A poor preacher is a embarassment to Christ.

I did not write that you Moron! Don't misquote me!!!!!!
Uh, go back and read the post again.
NOBODY was quoting YOU.
I was quoting A Jovial Cad. It was FIRSTLY ADDRESSED TO HIM in case you didn't notice.
I merely copied you cause I thought you might enjoy it.
Yeah, after all, Jesus drove a Cadillac
Yeah, after all, Jesus drove a Cadillac.
HA HA HA!!! Did you know that Judas was the treasurer of Jesus' ministry? Now what would a poor preacher like Jesus be doing with a treasurer?
Why would He let someone else carry the money? After all, Judas sold him for money.
I'd probably be spitting mad, too, were I you: I've found over the years that pointing out heresy always makes heretics, such as yourself, angry & resentful.
18 Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 So Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 20 You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother. 21 And he said, All these things I have kept from my youth. 22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me. 23 But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.-Luke 18:18-25
You are an embarrassment to true Christians everywhere, "CAWats"--as is your scummy hero Kenneth Copeland.
O.K., isn't the guy a lawyer? Many lawyers have lavish lifestyles; it's the nature of the beast.
But, having said that, I do NOT approve of those who are living off of a non-profit organization having those "lavish" life-styles; like some televangelists with their mansions and jet airplanes.
I do have one consolation, however. One day, we will all stnd before God and give account. And, on that day, I'd hate to be in some people's shoes.

You're right. God wants me to be poor and give away any money I get. That way, I can get into heaven. I hope you want the same.
Did you ever get a reply?
Long time ago post, but definitely you were barking up the wrong tree.
Sekulow was BANKRUPT before CASE/ACLJ precisely because of the somewhat Ponzi-like investment scheme that bottomed out and resulted in his personal bankruptcy. He may have lived like he was wealthy before his scheme panned, but there was nothing real to it.
