Totally agree...I think the repubs got the senate confused between the country club and the senate dems.

Exactly. While the Dems are playing hard ball, for keeps, the Republicans are enjoying the country club setting.

"From now on?," Mr. Frist?

That's like saying a child molester won't be allowed to babysit your kids after groping them.

When Lott got into trouble and quit his post, I was one of the suckers who felt Frist would be a capable majority leader. There mustn't be a spine or working brain among the whole GOP caucus!

Never forget the difference between a conservative and a liberal

A conservative bases his politics on his morals...
A liberal bases his morals on his politics...

If the Rats were smart they wouldn't make Frist look so feckless. They could use a easily manipulated loser like him in the next prez race.

And not leave someone there to see what they were doing?????

Why not. What are they going to do, play with themselves?

Harry Reid is a sleazy scumbag (I'm being polite)

Although I loved living in Nevada, I found Dingy Harry to be the ONLY thing I disliked.

The man is a cesspool. I wouldn't trust him as far as I can spit!! (but, then again, I feel the same about Hillary Clinton, Chuckie Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Teddy (the swimmer) Kennedy, Little Dick Durbin, Barbara Boxer, need I continue???

These are the faces of the democRAT party. Is there any wonder why they are becoming irrelevant? If the present trend continues, the Green Party will have more members than the democRATS.

I can't trust Senator Reid," the Tennessee lawmaker said

If this statement is just political posturing, for the benefit of the press, that's OK.

But, if Frist is simply making a true statement, I gotta wonder who helps him tie his shoes and cut up his meat. Is he allowed to use anything sharper than crayons?

I agree. Is there a democRAT (other than Zell Miller) who is capable of telling the truth??

They are truly a party of disgusting, vulgar, vile people.

This quote from Frist is from the "Well, duh...." School of Rhetoric. He's rather late to the party on this one. And while he's at it, he better add Kennedy, Schumer, and Durbin just in case he missed anything they've ever said.

“Bipartisan.” Hmmm...

Why belong to a political party?

Is that like being a double agent?

I don't trust anybody who makes a claim of being “bipartisan.” That is Leon Panetta's favorite word. Never liked that aloof POS...

I have heard many things about this low life, but he keeps his seat.

Well......we're talking about democRATS here. I'm sure that "playing" with themselves is something they do to become party members. :-)

Seriously, I feel better having the GOP Senators in attendance, just to see what these sleazy scumbags were up to. They also could have used the absence of the GOP Senators to try and pull off some obscure, quorum vote. Who knows, maybe they would have declared Algore the President.

Sorry, but I just don't trust the democRATS, all by themselves, in the U.S. Senate.

Look, I was a little harsh my first response, but I'm sick and tired of you hardcores thinking ramitdowntheirthroat works. It doesn't, it hasn't ever worked. You've made some good points, but w/out realizing you're just not dealing with the dems, you're dealing with the PEOPLE of America. You just can not ramrod thru an aganda w/out paying a consequence. Why do you think dems are always calling Repubs extremist, because they know the people don't want extremist governing.

Take no prisoner's = Extremism.

There's no way Bush would have EVER had a landslide except in fantasy land!

I know, and I find it hard to believe.

The greatest, nicest, most conservative people I've ever met live in Nevada. I find it hard to believe they keep electing him.

There must be a reason. I just don't know what it is.
