I saw a behind the music about her and the story of how she was in love with the other bandmember, and then, when they broke up, all her songs were mean songs about him, was heartbreaking, but hysterical! (I know, that was a long, crappy sentence!)
She's hopeless. She's actually saying Gwen only married a Brit to be like her. How crappy.

Gwen Stefani goes out of her way to look "glam rockstar/diva." However, if you look at some of her oldher photos, like the one you published, she's really a very beautiful young woman, and I think that she really goes out of her way to cover it up. Her look, with outrageous clothes and makeup really hide how gorgeous she is.

BTTT!! I missed that! I can barely stop laughing to type. Bwahahahaha. Madonna was never anything but skanky and Gwen is feminine and lovely. And is blessed with a beautiful voice. Unlike Madonna's well synthesized voice (and I even like a couple of Madonna's songs...).
I love that romantic 40's era look she's going for in the Vogue shoot. No wonder Margaret and Madonna are jealous! I think Gwen's a natural brunette, but few can wear the platinum as well as she can!
About the fashion, I agree somewhat, sometimes looked more like workout clothes. But otherwise, I disagree. She's quite versatile. I loved the torch songs about her unrequited love. Bathwater is still one of my favorites. And the way she sang them was/is amazing, too. Oh, and I did like the pink hair. Not a look for everyone, but it worked for Gwen the singer.
Oh, I didn't have a problem with them per se; I just thought the songs were ubiquitous. It was obvious for awhile that she was a girl with issues, so, I'm glad she moved on. We all do. I'm also glad to say her issues never dipped to Madonna lows!

Margaret Cho is absolutely nuts, she's having the same meltdown that Rosie O' Doughnuts had once her career tanked.
LOL, meltdown indeed. I call them tantrums, too. Worse yet, Cho seems to be racebaiting, spreading hate where none exists. Or should I say, inserting hate where none exists. I love her style, too, and her music. I don't think I can get away with imitating her style, but I wish I could.
It does look like Margaret has lost a few.
