If you listened closely to what he was saying about Iraq...and the poor conditions there...like high unemployment, the water and electricity problems etc...
I flashed on the speeches of a candidate in Germany in the 30's....promising jobs, and the trains to run on time.
I am sure, under Saddam that these conditions were somewhat better...but not much...I heard they didn't have water and electricity under Saddam, much, either.
