Aren't you the model of PC correctness! Sorry you were offended by a silly story about vowels.
You obviously didn't read my post with the humor it was intended to have. I wrote what my very dead Italian grandfather told me decades ago. I think it goes back to old culture wars between northern and southern Italy. I added the "lol" to show I though it was funny for it's absurdity.
If you are one of those ending in "e" I would say the stereotype for you would be one with no sense of humor or insight.

I liked the nick-name "Scalito" from the first time I heard it. Does it mean something in Italian that is non-flattering? Never heard the word before. I think it's used to denote the similarity of his judicial philosphy with Anton Scalia. However, some legal eagle said the conservatives would be surprised to learn that Alito's leanings are more in line with O'Connor's. Conservatives won't be the only ones surprised.
