No, it would not, but it's been done before there. And I suspect it will be done again.
I don't know. They really remember their military dictatorships with a great deal of pain and bitterness. I don't think they will be anxious to end their democracy.
"Invasion/colonization by Mexico is upon us, perpetrated by our greedy "leaders". Third world status, here we come, unless we start screaming at the top of our lungs and throw the bums out."
If they're stelaing the food from your family by taking your job then I think the time has come to start treating them and the politicians who support them like you would someone who broke into your house at midnight.
"Really sad. What was once the sixth wealthiest country per head in the 1920s, attracting immigrants from all over, has let itself go to hell"
Thanks to politicians, the World Bank and several large corporations.
And we could wind up in the same predicament. Our wonder years, as the creator of the world's reservere currency, are coming to an end.
I signed up at Frugal Squirrels and read the whole essay as well as the comments. This man, FerFal, is just simply amazing. I am so glad I bookmarked this. I learned so much that I think being down with the flu today became a blessing in disguise because it gave me the chance to catch up on my reading :)
TM, thank you so much for sharing this info with us here on FR (and also for your posts on topics such as the economy, illegal immigration, military stuff, etc.). I must admit I wasn't always able to follow and/or relate to the gun/ammo talk, but I read it all anyway. Thanks again. Regards, marie4444.
To All:
In case you're interested, FerFal has added some new info since this thread was posted and so you might want to go back to the site to read the latest. His essay goes from Part 1 to Part 6 (Addendums were not always added at the end, some were inserted to earlier parts to further expound on a topic.)
The essay is also posted on www.buildanark.net, just click on "Argentinean Perspective". There's a picture there of the weapons he carries in his car. Also, if I'm not mistaken, there are some question and answer entries in part 5 which are not on the version posted on the Frugal Squirrel's site.
"Thoughts on Urban Survival" is the most important thing that I have read in literally years. I cannot recommend enough that all freepers read it! It covers topics I had not even THOUGHT OF, such as squatters moving into your house while you are gone, and refusing to leave when you return! Simply mind-blowing stuff!
