Maybe Dan Rather would like to break this story?

I don't know if it is normal. Susan has been given the opportunity to speak with Juanita and hear her side. Too bad that she refused.

While Clinton did the alleged act and deserves the punishment, it certainly says a LOT towards Hillary's character that she sought Juanita out at that event and gripped her hand for too long, THANKING Juanita. It means Clinton himself must have told Hillary at least that he attacked or got very rough with Juanita, and all Hillary wanted (needed!) was for Juanita to shut up.
Thus Hillary cares little about releasing a (repeat?) rapist into society (on Air Force One, yet). Cares less about women who are true victims. But cares most about her own political power, even if she gets it riding on the boxer shorts of a man.

You beat me to it. This is the story that he an Mary Mapes should have chased for six years.

Rape is a crime of sex AND violence or sexualized violence. While it's important to point out that rape is motivated by violence and not love, the sexual nature of the assault should not be dismissed.

I never followed the details on the Broaddrick rape story, so maybe you could summarize:
1. Is there evidence other than her word that this happened?
2. Why did she not go to the police?
To: Question_Assumptions
Totally agree. Some feminists try to make people believe it is only violence.

You are right -- Bill and Hillary have never had to answer for either Bill's rape of Juanita, much less the intimidation of Kathleen Willey, etc.
Did you hear about the
tour of the Clinton Library that Juanita and Kathleen Willey are doing next Wednesday?
If folks here on FR and in the blogosphere draw enough attention to this, it will make it much more difficult for the Klintoons to get away with continuing to avoid answering for this.

Shortly after the assault, Norma Rogers, her roommate at the conference, came back to the room and saw her with ripped clothing, bloody swollen lip, and in shock. Who had been in the room? The bellboy? No. The chef from the restaurant? No. The concierge? No. The maintenance man? No. The person who had just been in the room was the attorney general of Arkansas.
It was 1978. She did not come forward because who in Arkansas would be believed? A woman or the attorney general?

I think Christopher Hitchens is fairly convinced that Bill Clinton is a rapist. At one point, he insisted on referring to Clinton as "the rapist" on Bill Maher's old show Politically Correct and Maher couldn't get him to stop. You might want to give Hitchens a heads up on this. He might find it interesting. Hitchens, unlike Estrich, is an honest man, even if I don't always agree with him.

Candace Jackson knows about this. I hope she can make use of it at the Lie-brary next Wednesday.

Wasn't she one of the talking heads on Fox who thought Bush should meet with Cindy Sheehan (again)?

Let me ask this - In light of a post just made by Yaelle- could we plan this to take place, oh, say - right at the beginning of HILLARY!'s campaign for President?
"What did she know and when did she know it?" sort of thing.
A "Clinton Rape Camp" at every campaign stop.
Hmm.

If she was, I'd like to see a quote.

Oh, that's next week? For some reason I thought it was this week...Doesn't matter, they are incredibly courageous women to do this after all they've been through.
Prayers of God's strength for each of them.

If I watched Fox News, I would call them to account for paying this liar as a Fox News consultant. But as I understand it Fox News settles O'Reilly phone sex bills when he uses Fox's paid employee producers for phone sex. Besides Estrich is just too UGLY to being taken seriously.

I remember seeing on one program that she had in fact told several close friends about Clinton raping her while she was still publicly denying the rape.
I also remember when NBC did the story, they decided to investigate every detail such as her description of when it happened, what buildings were visible, where Clinton was on that date, etc.
Every detail held up.
