No problem. Every situation is different. FWIW, I try not to flame people automatically. There's only been one instance that I know of where I've flamed someone right away, and that was when he was being an imposter of me. Lucky I caught him quickly.
Paper v. person. Paper wins.

Thanks FV.
You're welcome. Did we ever find out if Jimmy died of natural causes or if he was forced out by the culture of death whereby a piece of paper can kill you?
Not conclusively, but read post #134, and the following posts.

It cost the Republican party a lot and they are so dysfunctional right now, I don't know if they realize what it cost them.
Jeb wants to be vice president of the U.S. No thanks. He hid when an innocent woman needed his help. His atty was just a dog and pony show. Jeb did not help Terri. He was a coward.
I had my suspicions when I read his obituary. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks there's a snake in the wood pile.
The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.--Federalist 45
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.--Tenth Amendment
I can pray about the situation (which I try to do in all issues) but this issue under our Constitution is strictly the business of the citizens of the state of South Carolina. It is not the business of the national government, the business of the citizens from other states, and laying pressure on elected officials for whom I did not cast a vote is disingenous to the citizens within the state that did vote.
Should a group of citizens from Oregon be able to influence the decisions of a city council, sheriff's office, etc. in South Carolina? Even if the Oregonians holds a different value system than South Carolinians? Because that is what you're asking. To destroy federalism in all aspects to get what you desire. Perhaps in this issue, the intent is good. What about the next issue? Can you guarantee the intent will always be good? If you allow it once, the precedent is set. A very bad one
Does it feel good to slap down a grieving daughter? Do you feel like a man? Was it good for you?
Really? Where is that located? The Tenth Amendment says no such thing. The Tenth Amendment only says if the right has not been enumerated to the federal government, that right belongs to the states, or citizens of the respective state
If we each say "Well its not happening to me so I won't worry about it" not only have we reared a generation of egocentric scapegoaters, but we have also set the stage for a disgraceful country.
Better get to passing laws you want within your respective state then. Petition your state legislators. Because if you continue to influence the federal government to deal with state issues, not only have you set the stage for a disgraceful country, you're ignoring our founding document and may as well shred it.
Murder is already illegal. But if it makes you feel better to harass a dead man's family, keep going. You're doing a fine job of showing your true colors.
I am not heartless and I feel for all involved (as I've stated previously). However the Constitution of these United States is there for a reason. And as long as it's there, it must be the guidance for this nation of states. Some may consider it, and it has been called for other reasons, a suicide pact if you will. But it's all we have. And if we ignore it at whim or when we disagree with the limitations therein, we are no better than liberals
South Carolina needs to revisit their lax rules which seem to be in need of a serious overhaul.
Misrepresenting the Constitution, and claiming that the murder of their family member is Constitutionally justified is your way of showing your feelings for the grieving relatives? That's sick!
The Constitution supports life, not death by a piece of paper. Do you understand that while we fight the culture of death due to islamo-terrorism, our govt is helping families kill their relatives. What's the difference, if you will. A culture of death abounds whether it's a homicide bomber or someone who takes away someone's food and water. Life is too short anyway. Why force people out who want to get all they can out of life? It's murder.
If you are who you say you are, I mean no offense. I offer my condolences (contrary to the opinion of some they are heartfelt).
If you would read my statements, I have no issue with that reasoning. If South Carolinians feel strongly enough about the issue, they should contact their legislators and have the issue addressed. However, those legislators should not be influenced by those from outside of the state as many would recommend.
I guess somebody should have warned you about the trolls and moles who have fought a long hard battle in support of forced euthanasia. If their personal attacks become too agressive for your tastes, below each post is a link to report abuse to the moderators.
