Before the last of us leave the site, we always make sure that all Freepers are safely in their vehicles, or are safely delivered to the Metro stations; and the drive up to the Beltway is less than three miles, a straight shot, well lit, and well patrolled by the various localities' LEOs.

I wish there were some way I could join you guys. I enjoyed the protests that I did with fellow FReepers up in the NYC area during the Clinton days. Alas, life has gotten much more difficult since those days (and it's not Bush's fault!).
