I just voted....no.

This is almost as ridiculous as Wildmon's claim that Mighty Mouse was snorting cocaine. Right now, we need every vote we can get. Grover was trying to keep the attendees voting for conservatives, despite their lifestyle.

If they are going to benchmark everyone's life to the perfect ideal, you'll end up with exactly ZERO supporters. Politics at least WAS the art of trying to find common ground, not personal incrimination and destruction. Ugliest are the circular firing squads...

Norquist betrayed America by siding with islamo-fascists. This log cabin thing is pikerish compared to what else he's done.

I've heard about that but don't know much. Can you point me to any websites?

Conservatives believe in keeping big government out of their affairs, sexual, familial, and otherwise. Norquist didn't betray those values, because he separated the personal from the political.

What took so long for them to get outraged about Grover Norquist? He's been busy selling out the Republican party to pander to Muslims for at least half a decade.

Big deal. Pat Buchanan just went on Gay TV. Are people going to claim that Pat wenk pink?

It depends on what the speakers say to these groups.

I don't see a big deal. Kind of like politicians speaking at every group they can get in front of.

Gay Rights TV Host Welcomes Pat Buchanan Last modified Sunday, August 21, 2005 10:05 AM PDT By DAVID BAUDER NEW YORK - For the second episode of her new talk show, Elizabeth Birch welcomed a guest she knew much of her audience would have preferred shouting at instead of listening to. That was precisely the point. Birch, a veteran gay and lesbian rights activist, had frequently been matched against Pat Buchanan on the kind of cable news debates that favor the quick and the loud. She wanted conversation that promoted understanding.

I just saw.

Many thanks.

It's a gagging thought...no one seems to mind all that, but they do mind his speaking to "Log Cabin" Republicans.

I second that. Anything after that can't be considered betrayal as he was already in the enemy camp with both feet.

I'm sensing a trend here: pit the "ethical purists" vs. the practical Tom DeLay supporters; pit the "Judicial superstars" vs. the Miers supporters; pit the anti-homosexual movement people vs. Norquist.

Are we seeing a trend? Are we seeing the MSM, finally understanding that Dems CANNOT beat us, trying to fragment the conservative base with planted stories from within? Looks fishy to me.

A number of conservatives are seething over the fact that Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), was the featured speaker at a fund-raising event for a group of homosexual Republicans last weekend. One pro-family leader called Norquist's appearance "an act of utter betrayal."

How stupid. Noquists's message is tax reform, and he should speak to everyone in the country about it.

"Big deal. Pat Buchanan just went on Gay TV. Are people going to claim that Pat wenk pink?"

Pat's running mate in 2000 was an avowed communist.
