I feel very sorry for those pathetic souls, be they male or female -- especially if they are very young. I never called them damned or stupid or horrible. What they DO is horrible. Their behavior is horrible. That is very different that calling THEM horrible.

It doesn't take being a female to see how screwed up those women, men and sometimes children are. Your thinking can't be that puerile and faulty.
It also doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how dysfunction they become with the THOUSANDS of sexual encounters they have. With the beatings and rape they endure from their, er, "clients," and often from their own pimps, it's easy to understand why they turn to drugs and alcohol. The "normal" sex is awful enough. One can only imagine the really ugly, kinky stuff they submit to -- for cash. Awful life.
Prostitution IS isolating, horribly so. But, then, I do read about these things when they appear in the news. MEN are the ones who see to, um, "support" the industry. It's those pathetic men who go to prostitutes who bear half the blame. The hookers anwer to supply and demand.

Women do the "groupie" thing and hang out with all sorts of groups of men -- rock stars, athletes, military, cops, doctors, felons, even serial killers. They aren't prostitutes, however, they are simply groupies. That is USUALLY what teenage girls do. They USUALLY outgrow it. Some women don't, though. It's puerile and silly, but there ya go.
Prostitutes don't "groupie" after anyone except those "clients," male OR female, who will pay them cash for sex. They don't care who pays them. They fellate, open legs, open butt, whip, get whipped, kiss butt, whatever, for whomever, wherever, however and whenever. That takes an especially sick, dysfunctional person to do that.

I don't think this would have been the case 50 years ago because morality wasn't so....relative. We all knew that it was wrong. Today, it's "well, if it feels good, do it."
My point is that these women make choices and are not victims. The men didn't make them victims. Nobody in this story is a victim. All got what they wanted and from what I've read were quite happy about it. Hardly sick and dysfunctional.

Prostitutes are SUPPOSED to smile and look as if they are happy. That's part of their job. Besides, they were probably loaded. Just because they were "smiling" doesn't mean that they actually were happy. People in the, um, "service" industry are supposed to smile at their customers.

Any woman who chooses to stay in an occupation where she voluntarily puts her face in the crotches of THOUSANDS of men and lies down on her back, naked and spreads her legs for THOUSANDS of strangers is one sick, dysfuctional person. It's almost suicidal when one thinks of the diseases, rapes and beatings.
