ONGOING: Walter Reed Vigil Friday evenings 7-9pm: 7200 Georgia Ave, NW (at Elder)
This Friday Oct 14th we will be joined by a BBC channel 4 documentary team. Let’s show them how it’s possible to love the troops and hate the war!
Every Friday night we stand in solidarity with soldiers, military families and veterans with our message: Bring them home NOW and take care of them when they get here. What started 7 months ago will continue indefinitely. Help us shed light on the human cost of this immoral war and what REAL support for the troops means – better protection for our soldiers in Iraq, adequate and timely benefits for wounded soldiers and their families, and full VA funding.
Let's show the BBC that there is no acceptance of their message of hate for our troops.
