Would love to have the hickory nut pound cake recipe - I don't know what hickory nuts taste like, nor even if we can get them here. :( (A Holiday Post with recipes sounds good) :)

I was thinking maybe hickory nuts could be used for smoking on the grill.....the that would be hickory chips....

As for the pup....his cuteness is off the charts. He bit my man on the nose 2 days ago & that cuteness was all that saved him.

Hi there: I remember the Vietnam war as a child; the numbers of American dead every night like the score of a game they were: 200, 150, 158, 300 etc. The liberal media does the same thing today. It is a numbers game for them so they can prop up their agenda. Don't think for a minute that they give a crumb(not my first choice of word here)

But deadhead don't worry, you are serving your fellow man, thats the *Brotherhood of Man* thing. It's the most honorable thing any person can do while in the flesh. Bravo. So what the system is the way it is, that does not diminish your service. Service is key !!

You are informed about the truth. I pick out constantly the out and out LIES that the media report as fact every single day. No wonder so many people are liberal.

Being Liberal to me is more and more the sign of an apathetic person who does not search for truth. Truth, beauty, goodness.

PS- And communism and socialism have failed terribly...Actually they have slowed our social and spiritual evolution as well. That is why USA is so vital to world progress. It is the only chance, IMO.

I am honored to know such fine people as you. I am stopped dead in my tracks to perceive how Our Military serve those like me who they do not even know.

In their actions, Our Father is not represented here on Earth.
