Like I said to Howlin, I'd love to believe you, honestly I want to, but why hasn't it hammered them at this late date? What about during the Senate run? In NY of all places you'd think that kind of thing would find a way out into the open somewhere.

For Freeh to have the goods, wouldn't he just about have to break the law to back up his accusations?

I would love to see those threads...it would make for some good weekend reading....

I have to go to an early football game my granddaughter is cheering at in the morning...so I have to leave now...

BUT, Howlin, maybe this weekend, if you have a chance, I would love to read through those threads...

Thanks for offering!

What that poster said about you? I agree!!! Keep up the good work!

Of course she'll run; she's been running since she left Richard ben Veniste standing on a corner in D.C. and drove to Little Rock to marry Bill Clinton in 1975.

I just cannot believe she committed such a egregious social faux pas

---

While New York is abuzz with talk about the gifts that Denise Rich gave to the Clintons such as furniture for their new homes and a saxophone for Bill, the hottest items are said to be the four fur coats that Hillary recieved in the waning days of the Clinton presidency -and that Denise Rich is said to have paid for. Word in Washington is the the New York Post is ready to let the fur fly on this one.

I think it will be very interesting to read his book...and find out..

I would think that after all of this time...he would have to have the "proof"....he is too smart to think he won't be challenged...especially by Clinton himself...

Remember him pointing his finger and looking right into the camera and saying he did not have sexual relations with that woman??? His game is to call everyone else liars, and watch THEM try to prove differently...

THAT is what is going to happen to Freeh...and he should KNOW it, and be prepared for it..

I heard on Tony's show today, that the investigator that did the report on the IRS scandal, has been getting some "not so nice" messages from the Clintons and their "friends" lately...trying to warn him off of publishing that report...

And, I don't know if you know this...but the dems tried to put a stealth amendment on some bill that would have buried this report and made it illegal for it to be paid for, or released...so even the Senate was doing Clinton's dirty work!

You popped this off the top of your memory? How did you know about Veniste and Hillary in 1975?

She must have had either calculated missing this, or she had one hell of a good reason for not making the event.

What would we give to have a tape recording of Hillary's remark when she told a staffer at the last moment that she couldn't be bothered to attend this event....

HILLARY: "Spina what, do you think I give a #### about this, who signed me up for this event??" Someone one Hillary's staff really needs to defect and write a "tell-all" book.....

They worked together trying to impeach Richard Nixon!

Hillary didn't even think Nixon should be entitled to an ATTORNEY during impeachment!

I know that bitch up one side and another.

And like you, I wonder what was more important that honoring Barbara Walters!

I have a question that you have no reason to know the answer to, but I will ask anyway.

Txsleuth brought up the amendment to the spending bill that was placed there to bury the IRS report. The guy that introduced that amendment was Dorgan out of ND. Dorgan generally gets reelected in landslide there.

However, I remember hearing that when W came to Fargo in 2002, 90,000 people showed up. Word has it that it completely shocked him. 90,000 is a lot of people, and the number came from a Democrat that was very well placed.

ND is very, very red. Is there anyone you know of left in ND that could run and win vs. Dorgan?

Dorgan has moved permanently to DC, and has spent his entire professional life in office, either in the state house, Congress, or Senate. He wrote 90 checks in the House Banking Scandal. Had to let the maid go when the Zoey Baird thing hit the papers.

How vulnerable is he?

came in to see what it was about and it was Pelosi - she is very ugly

OMG....you saw that??? That was the ugliest thing I have ever seen. She humiliated herself spewing the same talking points she had spewed days before. She is a mess. I laughed my head off when I saw that they lost the vote to boot.

Because nobody EVER got close enough to her to ask ONE QUESTION:

TRANSCRIPT: JIMMY BRESLIN ON HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON'S NY SENATE CAMPAIGN

Quote: "They covered this country with a layer of soot. Now she comes here and says she wants to be the senator and doesn't want to talk about it and doesn't even brush the soot from her sleeves. It's bizarre."

The New Yorker is said to have 2 sources to Freeh's Saudi revelation.

Did the amendment pass or did the someone catch it in time?

I know next to nothing about North Dakota, except Thune and Daschle.

But I do know taht Byron Dorgan and Jack Reed are her lapdogs. She virtually never goes anywhere without Reed.

And even though she's been asked to repeatedly, she refuses to release her Secret Service detail while she's up on Capital Hill; she uses them to run her errands and keep the great unwashed masses away from her.

Honest? Oh goodie! I heard that Clinton said it was filled with lies; I guess he forgot it has to be fully vetted by the FBI before it can be published, huh?

BTW, somebody should tell this guy he should keep his cat inside for a while.

The press has never got the connection between Bernie Ebbers and Dorgan either. Dorgan wouldn't even answer the phone during all the Worldcom stuff for fear of the press.

They've been friends for 20 years. Nothing in the press about it.

Dorgan has a lot of power in the Senate, and keeps as low a profile as he can. All the way down.
