I paid for it when it was Keyhole, and it was very cheap. So I got grandfathered in when it was sold to Google. I'm not sure what the differences are now. They do send special data sets sometimes (like they sent a Katrina overlay that was good), and that's probably the difference.

IfI remember right, PKM posted that this mosque was very close to his apartment. In fact, that was one of the clues that got our alarms ringing on day 1 (apart from the other obvious ones).

No you don't. There are controls at the bottom of the screen for altitute, left right foreward back and turn left turn right. Furthere, your mouse scroll wheel sets altitude (zoom) and left click also works for zoom or tilt, I forget which. There is no difference in the interface based on pay, just content.

I just plugged that address into Google earth. The Mosque is cattycorner to the stadium, maybe 2 or 3 blocks away.

Good. I've been looking, but I can't find a pic of this one. (Found one in OKC, but not Norman.) I did find it in Google Earth, though- an overhead sat image.

Yes, the 1304 George Ave address is the Mosque, it was shown on a clip from the TV station that I was able to view on line.

I remember the tree between the buildngs. (key that address into google earth) to see what I mean. Its about a block and a half to the U shaped buildings where the perp lived. A half mile walk from the Stadium.

I was wondering that earlier today. Maybe they thought he wouldn't do it and set it off themselves from somewhere else in the area.

I was late getting to this story and am still trying to catch up. Being gone for five days last week put me way behind in all the news.

Will someone who is on this story please create a list of the top ten things we have learned about this bombing. East to grasp bullet points would be very helpful for everyone.
