Earle has crossed a bridge too far with these bald faced Democrap shenanigans. He's going to be crucified for his partisanship and incompetence. Because the first indictment was going to be tossed out very shortly--meaning DeLay would once again move back into his leadership position in the House--old Ronnie had to rush out and lodge another one to keep DeLay sidelines for a bit longer.
Someone call Specter for a little Scottish Law
It was legal when he did it.
Shouldn't the RNC and RNC officials have been indicted if this transaction was illegal?
The democrats did the same thing the year in question in Texas. But no inditement
Sounds like a campaign law loophole which earle wants to turn into a crime.
That is exactly what it is.
Perhaps I should just STFU and toe the Party Line.
Dick DeGuerin will beat incompetent Ronnie Earle like a borrowed mule. There is no case here.
I hope it goes to trial and is on Court TV, it is the only way we will ever get rid ronnie earle in Travis County.
A public trashing is in order.
You hit it right on the money.
" People keep getting this wrong!
It is not a house rule. It is a rule for republican congresspeople only. It is an ethics rule solely for republicans. The democrats, because they don't know how to spell ethics, would not dare have a similar rule for their congresscritters."
Another convenient oversight by the MSM.
Born in Fort Worth, Mr. Earle aspired in college to become a journalist but changed his mind and went on to study law at the University of Texas in Austin. His early career was spent working in Gov. John B. Connally's office and later as a municipal court judge.
He was elected to the Texas House in 1973, and in 1976 he ran for district attorney of Travis County, the office he has held since. He considered a run for United States Senate in 1993, but did not receive the backing of the state's most powerful Democrat at the time, Gov. Ann Richards.
That works for me!
