Now this is coming from Farah, so I will take this with a grain of salt and reserve judgement.

He is dead wrong on the international criminal court recommendation....a reader at ABP debunked that hogwash.
To: wagglebee
I believe this has already been debunked today. By the way, Joseph Farah is a joke.
To: traderrob6; All
Of course some people would still believe this hogwash....

I expect in his Tuesday editorial he will lambaste conservatives for being taken in by Bush. I Told You So and you'll get more of the same. Hey, you backed Roberts and now you're asked back another stealth candidate. So much for principled conservatism.

Wow, Farah is against another Bush nominee. What a surprise. /sarcasm
Farah would oppose anyone the President nominated.

I severely doubt a Bush loyalist and insider to the degree Miers is purported to be would support the ICC.
Bush's administration took the unprecedented step of removing Clinton's signature from the Rome Treaty.

As I said, I am ALWAYS skeptical of anything I read on WhirledNutsDaily, especially since Farah has been opposed to Bush since early in 2000. I hesitated to post this, but I do wonder about the homosexual adoption part.

Can't say that I didn't expect this sort of crap to surface about her, because I did. You don't get so involved with the ABA and state bar by being a true conservative.
To: wagglebee
The International Criminal court is a real issue for me. In 1999, there were already indications that there were problems with this treaty and that anti-American nations and hostile NGOs had hijacked the process and presented the US with a treaty that not even Clinton could present to the Senate for ratification.
It is clearly unconstitutional and puts our officials and soldiers at risk of being seized and tried in a unaccountable and alien court system and denied their rights under the US constitution.
Even worse, this gives a foreign court jurisdiction over US courts. For instance, if a defendant is tried in a US court and the ICC does not like the ruling, they can recharge and try.
To: wagglebee
well Joe Farah came out against her, so I am moving more towards supporting this....

As I said already, I am well aware of Farah's contempt for Bush and his often deranged views. And I was very hesitant to post this, I have not as of yet seen the homosexual adoption issue debunked though.
