Yeah, there are time I can be a bit nihilistic, but sometimes maybe we need to have a crash so we can rise from the ashes againBetween our borders, spending etc, I am tired of crashing. You get in for a while and I'll just watch.

He is a conceited self righteous wind bag. He constantly reminds his audience of how important he is and yet he has no political or cultural clout at all. Personally I'd rather listen to static.

I see the talk host show wannabe is heard from again, to bad he joined Air american and lost what little ratings he had. Look, Savage is a weirdo, but just because he isn't quite as successful as Limbaugh doesn't make him a wannabe.

Now, we need to calm down a bit. I wouln't have chosen Miers, and I still think Bush makes a strategic mistake here... but comparing her with garderner is a bit too much (not that there's anything wrong with being a gardener). Afterall, Miers has been a good lawyer (she's on the list of 100 most powerful lawyers and 50 most powerful female lawyers).

"I'd rather listen to static" Go ahead, but there is a reason why Savage gets more and more popular every day.

I strongly believe she will interpert the Constitution as the founding fathers meant. Based on the non existent evidence upon which you base your opinion, the exact opposite could be true as well.

I am glad Michael Wiener, oops, Michael Savage has weighed in. He said Roberts wasn't a conservative, so he has zero credibility on the manner.
I am sure Malkin will be against her and now that Ann Coulter opposed Roberts, she has no credibilty on the manner as well.

I heard his first show and stopped listening when I left SF. Only listened 'cause of the alternatives. I always thought he was a liberal putting one over on people to get ratings.
It worked........

Yeah, I know what you mean, sometimes I see both parties like two cars being shoved off of a parking garage, the Democrat car just falls off and ends up as a twisted hulk of metal on the ground, the Republican car has a small parachute behind it, it may fall a little slower but the results are the same. I like what Glenn Beck said earlier today, where the only person he has faith in is Jesus, even the President has to prove his intentions. I follow that philosophy. Many times, all I can do is just shrug my shoulders.

Dobson is proving himself to be a loyalist, that's all. Others are doing the same thing saying, "Oh, don't worry Bush had known her for five years or whatever, blah, blah."
Laura Ingraham (for Roberts, disappointed in Miers)
Coulter (skeptical of Roberts, not thrilled with Miers)
Bennett (hoped for more Scalia/less Rehnquist in Roberts stunned by Miers)
Bill Krystal (boggled at Miers)
Chuck Shummer? Sees good things in the choice of Miers!
