That's just not gonna happen. Read some of his statements and you will find out that he's almost their political opposite.

I know that. I just can't pass up a chance to plug what may be the funniest album I've ever heard.

To hear Pat Boone singing "No More Mr. Nice Guy" is pretty sublime.

I got a great kick from hearing these songs as played with a big band arrangement, and the 700 club made a stink about it for him.

My favorites from it are "Holy Diver" and "The Wind Cries Mary".

Add Paul Anka to that mix: "Rock Swings in a Metal Mood!"

(It just came out and may be even funnier than Pat Boone's effort!)

Groupthink is an amazing phenomenon - it can turn even sucessful, intelligent people into drooling morons. ;)

Time for me to BURN all the Burt Bacharach vinyls and cassette tapes in the house, shed, garage.

You mean vinyls and eight-tracks...Bacharach is pretty much pre-cassette techno...

I like Pat Boone; I don't think he expected to get so hammered from both the Christian and rock worlds.

He should have asked Bob Dylan. 8~)

Never had 8 Tracks but when cassettes came out did manage to find a few of the old timers that had their songs put on cassettes.

Actually, he made a small comeback with the Austin Powers films.

Moog Bacharach (doesn't matter what the lyrics are then):
