. Your ignorance of finance is appalling. You're either extremely stupid, pretending to be stupid or think the opposition to the UNfairtax is stupid, I don't know which is worse.

Capital gains taxes are not paid on the principle of the investment, Neither is it paid on the dividends (which were taxed when earned) it is only paid on the increased value of the principle when it is sold.

Who do you think owns all those mutual funds out there, who owns the retirement funds that were purchased with after tax money, who owns the tax paid equity in the houses that people live in, who owns the annuities that were purchased with after taxed funds. Your (as you describe) "very little select minority" thats who. Over 50% of the people in the US own homes and have tax paid equity in them that when they eventually sell and spend will have to pay a double tax on with this thieving double tax.

The UNfairtax or double tax as it should be referred to would tax these monies the second time. Once when it was earned and again when it is spent. NO THANKS

The UNfairtax specifically states that it is designed to replace the income tax and the other taxes withheld from the paycheck, These taxes have already been paid on the savings of millions of people. The Unfair tax places a second sales tax on these previously savings consequently it has earned the name of DOUBLE TAX
