Hmmmm...remember the letter I told you about?
I just re-read it. He won't listen to any of us. He is concerned, however, about inflaming the islamofacists.

Well, we certainly wouldn't want the islamofascists to turn to something like terrorism now would we?

Perhaps if the government would ban pork on Fridays they would like us. All strippers should be required to wear headscarves and only men should occupy seats on public transportation. Women and children must stand or squat.

My, my ... we must be careful what we say. As our senior, and I do mean SENIOR, sinator says;
"...it is critical that all Americans chose their words carefully while discussing the global war on terrorism. Without sufficient prior thought, well meant comments can be misinterpreted, fueling the vitriolic attitude among terrorists and radicals around the world."

LOL! So there. ;*))

Oh my! That really put me in my place...not.

Now, does that admonition of his apply only to the lowly citizen voters? Seems to me Congress people have played fast and loose with their tongues on many occasions. And what is it with his fascination with the Butt Grab scandal?

Reuters has told the US government that American forces' conduct towards journalists in Iraq is "spiralling out of control" and preventing full coverage of the war reaching the public.

I'm thinking the media has been pretty much out of control on their own.

Exactly! Remember I told you I couldn't remember what I had written to him? When I read the letter again I decided it was in regard to stupid comment he had made regarding the WOT.

And what is it with his fascination with the Butt Grab scandal

Ahem ... I believe you left off the all important "A" as in Abutt Grab. ;*)
Maybe we have a bunch of perverts up there on Capital Hill.

“The enemy of America is the Media. Act accordingly.” – within reason.
My problem with our “esteemed” media – which isn’t really “ours” but is now an international entity, is that the reporters are not only totally out of contact with reality (no experience other than journalism school) but have an over inflated sense self. Many seem to think that if they write “press” on their jacket they should be sancrosant and untouchable. They don’t seem to realize that at 100 yards that magic symbol can not be read. If the firing on coalition troops it heavy it may not be trusted, and for good reason.

"Act accordingly" to me would mean anyone (civilian or military, stateside or abroad) should exercise the utmost caution and skepticism when dealing with the Media...unless his name is Rush.
