If that record is true it makes the charge of rogue partisan hard to make stick.

You forget...the Dems are also famous for eating their own when they don't toe the Dem line.

Delay will be fine. Who cares abou Pat buchanan. Why else do you think he's on msnbc.
Did anyone catch the presser when terry moran asked McClellan about the stench swirling around the republican party. what a pig. Then pelosi came out. What they don't get is that people are on to their games and tactics.
They NEVER get it.

You are still failing to address the orignal point. Prove your accusations against Delay. Burden of proof lies on the accuser not the accused Troll.

I don't think I've ever made any accusations against Mr. Delay - If you want me to back something up could you be more specific?

He sure loves bending over for little Chrissy, and limp-wristed Don Imus for his jollies, what a media whore.

Tom Tancredo is a one issue and one issue only Congressman. All he ever talks about is immigration, which is not what a leader is all about. A leader is responsible for many, many important issues...

He has chosen an issue of overriding importance when many ignore it. If we fail to control illegal immigration and ultimately lose our country because of it, all the other "important issues" won't matter.

You hate Delay because he is an effective Republican Leader. Because of that any accusation against him is immediately accepted unquestioned as truth because it conforms to your political prejudices. When challenged about your bias rather then rationally defend your position, you choose to lash out at anyone who presents an alternative viewpoint. Since you have failed to offer any proof to back up your accusations and instead have just continued to make accusations, you lose the debate.

You're just making things up - I didn't say any of that.

The borders are an important issue, but not the only one,and there is no evidence that Tancredo cares about anything else.

There is only one thing that Tancredo cares about and that is, Tom Tancredo.

Here's a bit more about the DA....

June 20, 2005, 9:10 a.m.
“Dollars for Dismissals”
The prosecutor in the DeLay case dropped charges in exchange for cash to pet cause.

Ronnie Earle, the Texas prosecutor who has indicted associates of House Majority Leader Tom DeLay in an ongoing campaign-finance investigation, dropped felony charges against several corporations indicted in the probe in return for the corporations' agreement to make five- and six-figure contributions to one of Earle's pet causes.

A grand jury in Travis County, Texas, last September indicted eight corporations in connection with the DeLay investigation. All were charged with making illegal contributions (Texas law forbids corporate giving to political campaigns). Since then, however, Earle has agreed to dismiss charges against four of the companies — retail giant Sears, the restaurant chain Cracker Barrel, the Internet company Questerra, and the collection company Diversified Collection Services — after the companies pledged to contribute to a program designed to publicize Earle's belief that corporate involvement in politics is harmful to American democracy...

Exactamundo. Why only ONE charge? This is where it smells fishy. If Earle had the goods on DeLay, he'd have come down with a raft of charges to increase the odds of obtaining a conviction. He's playing legally speaking, with a weak hand.

Sorry but just screaming the accusation over and over and over again is proof of nothing. So care to actually try to defend your side instead of just spewing bile at the other side for a change?

This is a hit Job by Earle and is totally motivated by redistricting in Texas.

The rats are upset because the GOP is in the majority in Texas, but the way the districts are set up (over 150 years of carpet baggers) it has left the RATs in control of the courts. The redistricting will end their last hold on any type of power in Texas.

Hmm... That sounds a lot like Mr. Earle may be guilty of extortion...

When I served on the county grand jury we NEVER in the 8 weeks I served failed to indict someone. Never. Now I laugh when on Law & Order they speculate "I wonder if we have enough for the grand jury". In my experience it was the ultimate rubber stamp, so I have to wonder if this is the same deal.

They have no cause to advance, otherwise why side with those who are their political enemies?

It is just more political immaturity, a kind of craving for utopia.

"Pat Buchanan has declared Delay DEAD,,,and the Republican party in real trouble.... "

"Are you serious? "

Chris Matthews was of course there, with Howard Fineman, and they were all reading DeLay his political last rites. Same template MSNBC always uses to bash Republicans...Matthews, Fineman, Insert House 'Conservative'
