Got the Sheeple with you then vote them all out. If you just vote them out without the Sheeple, you will just get worthless liberals in their place.

The fact is they don't deserve to keep it.

Breaking: Delay Indicted

That makes no sense! Do they mean 'Induction Delayed'?

"I wonder if:
1) Delay will resign or step down from his leadership post."

House rules require an indicted leader to step down.

This is the same prosecutor who indicted Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison in 1993. This one will be thrown out too.

Unless they come up with photos of Delay in bed with a goat or worse Hillary, Im going to think he's done nothing wrong.

No doubt, though, Delay will have to step down until this is cleared up. The leaders have stood by him as long as he wasn't indicted. Now he'll have to do everything he can to get the trial scheduled quickly

DeLay ain't going to step down, no matter your fondest dreams when your bathroom door is closed.

brian wilson saying KayBay was once indicted and then it was thrown out.

By the same nutball, if I recollect correctly.

There IS cosmic justice! Now DeLay can continue to bloat the federal budget from his jail cell, as a member of the prison population.

I would really like the GOP to grow a spine and stand on something

If they didn't stand by Lott, I don't expect they'll do it for Delay.

It will be interesting to compare news coverage of DeLay's indictment vs. the FBI investigation of fradulent New Orleans police officers.

I have no idea if he is guilty. But, US House rules state that if you are under indictment, you must step down from your leadership role.

Dat's da facts.

True. Those are the facts. It's also a fact that this is more than suspicious being a year out from the '06 elections.

This is a political witchhunt.

Of course it is - that's all the leftist/socialist RATS know.

I think it's time Mr. Earle gets exposed for the partisan he is.

I think DeLay's political career is about over. I think he'll get this dismissed but the Democrats get him out of the Majority Leader's job. Earle delivered for the Democrats.

I hope this gets the Republicans off their ass and they now go after Schumer for those illegal credit reports and Pelosi because she had even deeper ties to that lobbyist than DeLay had.

Yeah, but they won't.

On a voice vote, the House Republican Conference changed a rule that required party leaders to step down if indicted for any crime that carries a prison sentence of two or more years.

Now other Republican leaders would have 30 days to review a felony indictment and make recommendations to all House Republicans about whether the person should step aside.

The parties write their own rules for running their caucuses, which are separate from House and committee rules and procedures.
