I don't suppose "retiring" exempts chief Compass from having to testify at the hearings does it?
To: Cincinatus' Wife
It's a sucker bet that the 700 who don't exist had their payroll salaries going directly into the pockets of LA politicians (the mayor, the police chief, the governor, Landrieu's family members).
What do you want to bet that when POS clinton put up his 100000 cops on the street that the money that went to hire cops in NO and elsewhere in LA went directly to hiring these 500 - 700 mythical cops.

Hey K,
Burton Cumming's and the Guess Who were correct in their song concerning those NOLA LE Thugs & elected officials.

Isn't even 1500 cops a low number for a city such as N.O.?

I think I heard Rush say that WJ commandeered a helicopter and rescued a refrigerator full of cash from his flooded home. That would be WJ, (D) LA.

Try a little further up, like Landrieu and her crooked family.

Even when you suspect corruption, something like this, to me, is just amazing. I don't have a criminal mind I guess - I never even imagine someone cheating people in this way.

In Texas they can't take your house or your car. However, I don't know if this pertains to someone who is a resident in another state.
It has to be your homestead, meaning your primary permanent residence. That usually translates to where you live most of the time, but not always (example, military personnel stationed elsewhere).

"... you can't make an SSN vanish."
Sure you can. It is done the same way that a SSN just "appears". Not to mention the fact that a SSN is NOT mandatory. Ever hear of a TID (Tax identification number). Tax ID's come and go daily.
Same way you get dead folks to the voting booth. People that always play by the rules seldom look at those that do not play by the rules.

Have looked, haven't found any investigation or research into these stories by MSM as to validity of the story, or whatnot. The vaunted msm is dropping like a rock. Their credibility is falling faster than the number of people they're having to lay off.

Thanks for the information.
I bet he's setting his family up in Dallas just for that purpose.

Last Saturday driving through a particular part of Fayetteville, NC -- at a stop light in traffic, there was an NOI guy trying to hawk the NOI paper... All minorities in their cars around me were deliberately looking away and not making eye-contact with the guy.
So, I have to question the use of "influental preacher" in the news article.
I don't think Farrakhan's a preacher, I think he's a cult leader.

Now we know why the Dims liked Clinton's 100,000 cops on the street. We always knew it was bogus we just didn't know how bogus. 100,000's of bucks in politicians pockets.

Baltimore, MD and San Francisco, CA vie for the #1 spot ~ why did you leave them off that list?

This also happens in Fire Departments under consent decree (judicially "ruled" preferential affirmative action) rulings. You'd be stunned to witness how many females, by majority numbers, are on disability "light duty" but receiving the same pay as those men in the front lines of hazardous fire fighting duty.
Of course, it gets even more interesting to witness how many get improperly bumped up to positions of authority, only to put the actual firefighters into harm's way.
