Purpose Driven Addiction.
I'm not quite sure about that.
In the same situation I would figure that anything that might change his mental state might be a good gamble. After all, she is tied to the bed by a guy who just killed 4 people so it's a good bet that his current mental state isn't too conducive to her getting out of the situation alive. Since she was a user herself, I am guessing that she could guess what the effect would be.
Boy howdy--if you ever saw that 'faces of meth' thing that some group did, (posted on FR maybe? I can't remember.) you wouldn'[t go near that stuff. There's a famous one from Florida showing a mug shots of a woman who was arrested for prostitution over a 10-15 year period--she aged 50 years, I kid you not.
maybe rick warren can include a chapter on the benefits of meth...
Those in the midwest may want to hear what she has to say out of her own mouth.

"I'm a stone-cold 5-dollar meth whore wearing smelly clothes who hasn't slept in 12 days, and who's itching hives have spread over every inch of my body"?
I still say he knew this woman beforehand. He was jonesing for drugs and on the lam and he knew where to find them. Her story was full of holes then as it is now. She help him hide a car when she could have called the cops, gave him meth and made him pancakes. He surrendered because he wanted to, not because she converted him. A nice tale was spun by two junkies.
So it wasn't the home-cooked pancakes??
Brownies perhaps...
I doubt she had a choice.
OK, you've convinced me, time to end the WOD's
Nothing like a well argued position to win me over.
I thought the Purpose Driven was more like Jimi Hendrix and LSD. I'm shocked!
You're so cynical. LOL.
"I'll offer them a 1/2cc of insulin and tell them it'll be the wildest rush they ever have."
Ahhhh, the old diabetic coma trick, BRILLIANT!

LOL... One of the first things they'd do when this murderer was back in custody would be to drug test him. If she had given him meth, it would still be fresh in his system. How would an escaped con, who the entire state was looking for, get time to find and buy drugs.
If this is all true, no doubt he told them where he got it.
They knew.
She was a smart cookie to get out in front and milk the Purpose Driven fad for her PR and book deal.
I'm hoping the cops thoroughly looked into if they were connected, but I have my doubts.
Naw, that's the first thing they'd look for is a relationship/connection between the two. If there was one, they'd would have found it out quickly.
I think I still have some Vicodin left over from when I had back surgery. The acetaminophen (active ingredient in Tylenol) in it can cause liver damage if ingested in large amounts or mixed with alcohol.
