God bless you. I pray that you will have the children you wish for. Just remember that God will grant you whatever gifts he has chosen for you in his time.

Thank you. God has given me plenty. I don't know why he gives me so many chances. I'll be going along and then he'll hit me with a 2 x 4 (sometimes literally) and remind me of what's really important. The major way he blesses me is in my job as a teacher. I see wonderful things happen that are beyond explanation. I wonder why God blesses this bumbling, mistake-prone person so much. But I make sure that I remember to thank him all the time.

Actually, you have to watch all media (I realize you are being humorous) nowadays.

At one of my former schools, I'd almost prefer if they were reading smut. At least they'd be reading, rather than looking at photo-magazines with the same content, videotaping their own sex acts, or getting caught performing sex acts within the school building.

It's no surprise that any educational entity refuses to listen to parents... or teachers for that matter. Usually, the only things that will ever prompt them to change their stands are either intense public scrutiny, or credible threats to their budgets.

All of our librarians come from the local neighborhood. There's no way they would get away with that here in this religious community. My brothers and sisters and I never had any problem in junior high and high school checking out books (my brother is in high school still). We never even thought of looking for "those" kinds of books and found a lot of good ones available to read.
