Seems highly unlikely to me that the dolphins would be left in holding while armed in the path of a hurricane. However let me be the first to say......
BRING OUR DOLPHINS HOME!!!!!!

Leo Sheridan, 72, a respected accident investigator who has worked for government and industry, said he had received intelligence from sources close to the US government's marine fisheries service confirming dolphins had escaped. Leo Sheridan, accident investigator, seems to have a fixation on armed sea mammals going back at least 5 years.

The solution to this problem is SO obvious. We just let the Brady Center know, they go right to DiFi, Babs, Chuckie and Ted the Swimmer, and they'll introduce legislation to ban them. As soon as our "conservative" President signs the legislation, the dolphins will turn in their weapons. Problem solved. I'm surprised no one else thought of this.

Well, "they may have escaped, and they may be armed," is the gist of this story.
I seriously doubt whether these dolphins are armed except during actual training exercises. And I doubt whether the navy would hold exercises in the middle of a hurricane.
So, this story is a lot of hot air.

I'm kind of hoping they can make their way up to the Teddy Kennedy compound or pool. Then again, maybe they will think he's one of their own......
