After all, it's not as if these ducks were unborn children or something.Shredding human babies is legal, duck shredding is not.

I say we just start yelling duck season at all their war grudge rallies from now on.

I think they should spare no expense at getting to the bottom of this. After all, it's not as if these ducks were unborn children or something.
The reason this crime needs to be solved is that the ducks were the Car Wash owners property. They were pet ducks, what value do you put on a pet? $5000 or $10,000? This is why it is a serious crime, even though it sounds silly at first blush to carry on about some ducks.
This was a case of destruction of someones property.
This is why we have police on the payroll.
Protecting and defending property rights is important.

They are actually spending police time on this? I'm sure there are no more serious criminals out there.

Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect

Furthermore, it is a fact that this type of behavior often leads to evem more grizzly behavior, involving people. This person needs to be tried, convicted, and watched very carefully for the remainder of his life.

"Protecting and defending property rights is important." I happen to like ducks. And I'm definitely in favor of the police protecting and defending property rights. But it says quite a lot about our culture that the odd destruction of some ducks gets more sympathetic responses than does the ordinary everyday destruction of human lives in abortion mills. Sorry if I can't get real excited about this story.

I just got banned from DU
Too funny! I said nothing bad at all.
If you don't call someone names and insult a whole group like they do then I guess you can't post there.
Funny it came right after a DUmmie said isn't it great how you can have the freedom to post here unlike the censored FR.
Now all my messages were deleted and I'm banned.
I'm sure you guys are used to this but Jim would not have banned me for what I said had it been the opposite belief.
They are completely socialistic.

Yep...
Been banned there before, got over it quickly.
I decided spending time at DU was the leading cause of stupidity in the universe and quit.

When the day started up, everything was just ducky.
Later on, everything went quackers!
Did the perp act alone, or did he have a wingman?
Did anyone get a good enough look at him before he flew off to pluck him out of a lineup?
