Hash is not MJ. Also you seem to be ignoring the fact that tobacco is smoked in them all across the Middle East. Give me a break.

You druggies are all the same, always trying to intellectualize your beliefs. The hookah was not designed and is not primarily used to smoke tobacco. And try spell checking your posts if you can get your mouth off the bong for a few seconds- it's only a few clicks Actually, hookahs are in use in many parts of the world, but are especially popular in the Middle East, where they smoke apple flavored tobacco.
I have never seen anyone smoking anything but tobacco in one in public.
I tried one once in Dubai.
Alcohol is regulated in Dubai and there are stiff penalties for any kind of drugs including marijuana. Nobody dares smoke marijuana there, but hookahs are very popular. When you first smell the apple scented smoke from the hookahs in the 'sundowner' bars on Jumeirah Beach, it smells quite pleasant. I don't smoke myself, but couldn't resist trying a puff or two of the apple smoke (no, I didn't inhale). It wasn't bad, although I couldn't see myself making a habit out of it.
In Dubai, if you are caught with marijuana, you can be sure of getting acquainted with a prison cell. I tried the Hookah in a five star hotel - hardly a place where druggies congregate.

Give me a break, like everyone doesn't know a hookah is not for drugs.Give me a break, like everyone doesn't know a mouth is not for blow jobs.
Hey, if you can come off with that sort of sweeping and falicious comment, I can assert my sweeping and fellitious comment.

There was an article in the Washington Post about hookah bars. Most all of them are restaurants with hookahs in them, are they are a bunch of them in the area. I would like to go to one of them, but I am not sure how comfortable I would feel in one of them.
