This Article hits the Nail on th eProverbial Head. The Massaging of America into Socialism. The Undermining of the US Constitution. We elect the Elite to govern us instead of electing us to govern us. Time for a change of oil in th eCongress and in Government in General. Time to return to the US Constitution, it Time to be an American.

Haven't you heard, as long as a candidate puts an (R) in fromt of his name, he can be a communist and we're still supposed to accept him.

I am a registered I.

I vote for the best. Long ago that was D now it is R.

But the book is hilarious and with the MSM going to the D ticket, we need it right now.

Well, you might argue that Republicans haven't always acted like conservatives. But there is certainly a difference in what the two parties profess to believe. And a children's book warning the kiddos of the dangers of liberalism might help the next generation to insist on honest adherence to conservative principles. It can't hurt.

The book is a joke meant to entertain whereas; Heather Has Two Mommies is very serious. The author makes some good points but it is time everyone lightened up a little.

"The name-calling may bring in the paycheck for many political pundits, but it is destructive to our nation, and to pass this feature of America on to our children is reprehensible."

No, what's reprehensible is that anyone would pay serious attention to a 17 year old, unless, of course, one was a seventeen year old.

Could Kyle Williams become our first skate boarding president?

"In conclusion, there are many problems to be solved in this country, but neither party is interested in offering a viable solution except when it can secure a victory in November"

Unfortunately there's truth in that statement. So long as our congress has an imcumbancy return rate in the 90% we will have this problem.

The elites have deep sixed term limits. The lobbyists control legislation.

You are so right. The difference in government from it's constitutional mandate is abhorrent. As we can see with the failed welfare. evacuation, etc. the best government is limited government.

Yet, why can't Americans be more intellectually honest regarding political allegiances? Is it possibly because partisanship appeals to the emotions, requiring sweeping general statements about entire groups of individuals?

Is it possible that Americans in General, have lost the ability to engage in critical thought, thinking the Tee-Vee provides intellectual challenges. Thus it has become normal and acceptable to be told what to think.

I don't like politicizing children. That said, at a family dinner I told someone I was raising my children to be conservative.

He said something to the effect of they should be able to make up their own minds. I told him, no, I homeschool, so all I have to do is teach them the Constitution - and let them go from there.

They are always quoting to ME now about how the founders wanted to protect the people from intrusive government.

Indeed, whether he/she be in Congress or the White House.

The main difference between fear of monsters and fear of liberals is the fear of monsters is irrational and you normally get over it by age 6.

Well said.
Although others night object on the basis that virtually everything said are simple -minded rehashes of dirty Demoscat talking points.
And, as such, need not be dignified with the courtesy of a reply.

Add: Bringing up the posters juvenility is probably OK.

I don't like politicizing children.

Check out all the subliminal and not-so-subliminal politics in children's cartoons and assorted shows. It's disgusting liberal propaganda.

The war is being lost because the libs still control this area of media, and as long as they continue to corrupt the very young, they have it made.

That is a very profound statement!

BTW ... My hat is off to you for home schooling. This nation is much better off for your, and people like your, efforts.

You mean like, in style, out of style, and back in style again? ;)

BTW ... I in no way denigrate youth. I do, though, firmly believe in serving an apprenticeship before being let loose to do a jouneymans job.

"do a jouneymans job."

Apprentice work will just have to do until your spell check gets out of the shop.
